Amir’s Dangal Release Date 21st Oct 2016: This Year Will Not Be Over Without Dangal:
Based on the life of a prominent wrestler by the name of Mahavir Singh Phogat, Aamir Khan is coming up in a movie called Dangal. Playing the lead hero by the same name (Mahavir Singh), the story of the movie explains about Mahaviir’s struggle in training two of his daughters in wrestling. The best thing about the movie is its plot, which rests in the root of rural Indian sports. Considered as a perfect tribute to woman wrestling or woman power exhibited in rural sports, Dangal has been directed by Nitesh Tiwari.
As per the plot goes by, Mahavir Singh Phogat is show as a champion wrestler of his time and works hard to win a Gold Medal for India in wrestling. But, his dream subsides as he is not able to do so. The hitch rests in him and he wishes that that his son will do the needful to realize the dream of Gold Medal. But, he was disappointed because his wife Shobha Kaur (played by Sakshi Tanwar) gave birth to four daughters. As the time progresses, two of his daughters Geeta and Babita came home on beating two boys. This was the spark, which made him realize that girls have the power to learn wrestling too.
From this point, history started getting penned down as Mahavir Singh Phogat initiated towards training them in wrestling. Knowing the nuances of wrestling, he made Geeta and Babita undergo hard training in his supervision. Indeed, the movie talks about the journey of Mahavir Singh in developing passion for wrestling in his daughters.
An exquisite movie made on Women Wrestling, Dangal’s music has been given by renowned composer Pritam Singh and the lyrics come from the diary of Amitabh Bhattacharya. To fetch perfection in the movie as per nature, Aamir Khan invited Kripa Shankar Bishnoi (Coach of Indian Women Wrestling Team) to train him as well as his daughter for grabbing the technicalities of wrestling. All set to release in Indian theatres on December 23, 2016, Aamir Khan seems to bring out the hidden talent in women and make the world realize their worth.
