Terrorist Killed in J&K Bandipora: Indian Soldier Injured

A day subsequent to martyred soldiers of Kulgam encounter were laid to take a break at least 9 security personnel comprising 5 army jawans have been wounded in an encounter with terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir’s Bandipora district, there a terrorist was also slaughtered. The injured soldiers have been airlifted to an Army hospital in Srinagar and state of few soldiers is alleged to be very serious.

Official alleged that the gun skirmish between defense forces and terrorists is still on and a number of injured soldiers could be more than nine. As per the reports, the army and police both commenced a combined search operation early morning based on tilt off concerning the attendance of terrorists in a suburban house. The thrashing terrorists fired up upon them which prompted an encounter. In the primary shootout, five jawans and four policemen were wounded.

As per the reports of NDTV sources subsequent to resorting to profound firing, the terrorists tried to shatter the barricade. But they were fascinated and one terrorist was killed in the encounter. As on the day before yesterday two jawans were killed in a ten-hour encounter between terrorists and soldiers at Frisal village in Jammu and Kashmir’s Kulgam region that initiated on Saturday night.

The reports stated that the militants were hiding in a house and soldiers neared the house and came under gunfire. According to the reports of PTI, personnel from Jammu and Kashmir police’s special operation team and the Indian army cordoned off the community of Nowpora on Sunday after getting precise inputs regarding the occurrence of militants. S.P Vaid, director general of Police was excerpted by PTI alleging that security forces have attained a ‘major success’ by shooting down four militants. He added that ‘On the other hand it is untoward that two soldiers were martyred and son of the house owner got caught in the cross firing and yielded to injuries’.

Subsequent to ten-hour cross firing between soldiers and terrorists crowd protests gained impetus in South Kashmir’s Kulgam region. In the intervening time Jitendra Singh, Union minister of state while remarking on force encounter alleged that it is no longer a covert that complete terrorism on Indian soil predominantly in Jammu and Kashmir is sponsored by Islamabad.

The security forces counteracted for terrorists connected to Hizbul Mujahideen and Lashkar e Taiba. Yesterday tributes were paid to two plunged soldiers named Lance Naik Bhandoriya Gopal Singh Munimsingh and Sepoy Raghubeer Singh at Badami bagh Cantonment in Srinagar.
