Dhoni Visited Ranchi Stadium Before 3rd Test Match


Subsequent to qualifying for the knockouts of the 2017 Vijay Hazare trophy the Jharkhand team arrived at Ranchi prior today and in no time previous India skipper MS Dhoni visited the Jharkhand state Cricket association stadium i.e JSCA stadium to check the preparations for the third test between India and Australia. JSCA secretary Debashish Chakrabarty, speaking to sportstar alleged that Dhoni is very careful regarding the nature of the wicket and he visits the stadium frequently just to make sure that things are in place in front of the test. He is also in touch with the keeper and the groundsmen to be acquainted with regarding the pitch and wants the Test match to be an outstanding one.

Ranchi’s JSCA stadium will become India’s 26th test venue when it hosts the third test flanked by India and Australia. The venue has formerly hosted four ODIs out of which India came out winning on two occasions at the same time as the visiting team managed to obtain the better of India only once with one match getting washed out.  India has won the single T20 hosted by the venue and the venue has also hosted a not many IPL and CLT20 matches as the home ground of Chennai Super Kings.

It has exposed that the JSCA has organized three strips underneath the supervision of keeper S.B.Singh. One of the three pitches looks abundant green at the same time as the second one has uniform grass on it. It is expected that the Indian team will prefer the third one that hardly has any grass on it. Even though the JSCA has not received any epistle from the board of Control for cricket in India i.e BCCI with a view to the type of wicket it should arrange, the secretary indicated that they would be delivering a track that will assist the spinners.

Singh told media that ‘when he’s here, he frequently visits the stadium for fitness work out and spends a long time at the gym. Today was no dissimilar, he also saw the wicket and we had an informal conversation, this is not unusual for me’. He added that ‘ he had never intervened in pitch arrangements in the prior four years, being such a great player, I always look forward to his inputs on the excellence of wicket’.

Though the JSCA keeper S.B.Singh asserted that the 22-yard strip for the third test will be an impartial one where the batsmen will also have their moments of grandeur. He is also certain that the match will go on until the final day and the side batting fourth will face a confront as the wicket will begin spanning from the third day. It’s good that MS Dhoni is supervising the preparations at the JSCA stadium ahead of the Test match to make certain that his limited overs teammates get all the assistance they need to take a lead in the four-match series.
