IPL 2017 Opening Ceremony In 8 Different Cities

Indian premier league is a kind of addiction for not only the Indians but for the whole world because IPL is different from other domestic league played in other countries because it has glamour it has money and most importantly it brings together so many great player on one stage. People want to see their favourite players on a single team played with each other.

The IPL is a big thing for BCCI also because they get lots of money and popularities from IPL. Players from many countries always want to be a part of IPL. IPL brings happiness to the home of Indians and they always get excited to their favourite teams.

This is 10 edition of IPL and there is tradition of opening ceremony for the IPL and all the past edition had their ceremony in a particular place with the players and the captain of all the teams, but the good news for all the host cities is that there shall be 8 different opening ceremonies on 8 different cities. IPL chairman Rajeev Shukla said that,  a unanimous decision was taken by the members of the governing council to give fans from all the host cities a taste of the gala opening ceremony.

Rajeev Shukla said that it would be unfair to say that it was only his idea. He continued that all the members sat together and decided to have separate opening ceremonies across all the host cities so that all the fans from different cities can have the enjoyment of opening ceremony and be the part of it. He also added that the various segments of the ceremony will be our culture and all the cities will get the chance to show their culture to the world. He also said that performances from Bollywood stars, spirit of cricket signing and other events will be there. Those are:

April 5, Hyderabad: Sunrisers Hyderabad vs Royal Challengers Bangalore

Stadiu: Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium.

Performer: Amy Jackson

April 6, Pune: Rising Pune Supergiants v Mumbai Indians

Stadium:Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium.

Performer: Riteish Deshmukh

April 7, Rajkot: Gujarat Lions v Kolkata Knight Riders

Stadium: Saurashtra Cricket Association Stadium.

Performer: Tiger Shroff

April 8, Indore: Kings XI Punjab v Rising Pune Supergiants

Stadium: Holkar Cricket Stadium.

Performer: Yet to be confirmed

April 8, Bangalore: Royal Challengers Bangalore v Delhi Daredevils

Stadium: M Chinnaswamy Stadium.

This is a brand new idea taken by the IPL committee and all the teams and their fans will get a chance to enjoy the opening ceremony in their city. So people will definitely like this idea which will make it more popular and this idea will take more attention of the supporters. This is a very good news for the IPL supporters and people will get more chance to show their support to their team and also they will get more enjoyment.
