Tribute to Shahrukh Khan at the 60th San Francisco Film Festival

We all know that Shahrukh Khan is one of the biggest superstars of the World, and getting a tribute at the 60th San Francisco Film Festival is the another milestone for the actor. The Bollywood Superstar shared the stage with the Hollywood director and producer Brett Ratner and had the candid conversation with him. Shahrukh’s film My name is Khan will be screened in San Francisco on Friday. When Brett Ratner called Srk on stage, the entire public in the hall chanted one name – Shahrukh Khan. Adding to this, the famous Hollywood director literally stunned Shahrukh Khan when he connected him to Jackie Chan through Video Call. An excited Khan said to Jackie Chan that when his first son was born, he thought that his son looks like him. “I don’t think I have said this before, but when my first son was born [Aryan], he looked like Jackie Chan,” said Khan. Shahrukh was so overwhelmed with Jackie’s gesture that he said he’s going to change his name now. “From tonight, I am going to change my name to Shah Rukh Chan. I am a huge fan [of Jackie Chan]. This is the greatest moments of my life,” Shahrukh added.

The Hollywood director Brett was all praises for the Shahrukh Khan and even expressed his desire to work with him in a Hollywood movie. “One day I want to make Rush Hour’s sequel in India with SRK in it,” Brett said. He even promised Shahrukh that the role would be a proper character role and it would not be a cameo or 5-minute role. The Badshah of Bollywood also taught some the signature steps of the hit Bollywood number Lungi Dance. A tribute was paid to Shahrukh Khan at the 60th San Francisco International Film Festival and his movie My Name is Khan will also be screened. It is definitely a proud moment for the Indian Cinema. Shahrukh Khan always made India proud and takes steps to widen the reach of our cinema.

Shahrukh Khan is currently busy in shooting for Imtiaz Ali’s next directorial film opposite Anushka Sharma, which is going to release on the Independence weekend this year. He recently wrapped up the Punjab schedule for the movie, where the actor was also spotted wearing a turban for the movie. According to early reports, Srk is playing the role of a guide in the film. After Imtiaz’s film, the superstar will start shooting off Aanand L Rai’s next, where we’ll see him playing the role of a dwarf. There are reports that the search for the leading lady of the movie is still on as Deepika failed to give her dates for the film. It looks like that Shahrukh has a great lineup of his upcoming movies.
