VC's of Two Universities Appointed By UP Governor


The Uttar Pradesh Governor Ram Naik has appointed new Vice Chancellors of King Georges Medical University (KGMU) and Madan Mohan Malaviya Technical University (MMMTU) for a tenure of three years on Friday. Governor Naik has appointed Prof Madanlal Brahm Bhatt as the new Vice Chancellor of the prominent King George Medical University in Lucknow.

The Professor Madanlal Brahm Bhatt is the head of the Radiology Department in KGMU and now appointed as the new Vice-Chancellor of the University. He will replace senior doctor Ravi Dev. Srinivas Singh has been appointed as the new Vice-Chancellor of Madan Mohan Malaviya University (MMMTU), Gorakhpur. He was a professor in the Electric Engineering Department at the IIT Kanpur. The term of their service will be three years after the official joining date. The Principal Secretary of the Governor Juthika Patankar said that the appointments have been made for three years from the date of joining of the new Vice Chancellors.
