Kapil Mishra Submit Proof Against Kejriwal, Water Tanker Scam, CBI To Probe

From internal party fights to losing the elections of Punjab assembly and Delhi MCD elections and now, the allegations by a sacked minister of taking the cash of 2 crore cash, time is definitely not going well for the Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and his Aam Aadmi Party (AAP). Today, the sacked water resources minister Kapil Mishra submitted the proofs to the Delhi Anti-corruption Branch (ACB) and detailed evidence on the 400-crore water scam as well. He also said that he will approach CBI.

The sacked Aam Aadmi Party minister Mishra previously alleged that he witnessed the health and PWD minister Satyendra Jain passing on Rs 2 crore to Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal. As per the Kapil Mishra, Satyendra Jain told him in a private conversation that he had fixed a Rs 50 crore land deal encouraging of a relative of the Delhi Chief Minister. While talking to the reporters outside the Anti-corruption Branch, Mishra said, “Whatever evidence I have, I gave it to the ACB, will be summoned again to assist in the probe.” Mishra also said that he had requested for an appointment with the Central Intelligence Bureau (CBI) to reveal them about his claim of Health Minister Satyendra Jain giving unaccounted Rs 2 Crore to Arvind Kejriwal. Previously, the Delhi Lieutenant Governor of Delhi Anil Baijpal already forwarded Mishra’s complaint to the Anti-corruption Bureau of Delhi.

On Sunday, Mishra claimed that he was shocked when he saw Jain giving Rs 2 crore to Kejriwal. “I saw Kejriwal take Rs 2 crore from (Health and Transport Minister) Satyender Jain. Jain told me he had struck a deal of Rs 50 crore for one of Kejriwal’s relatives. When I told Kejriwal about this he said, ‘This is false and you should have faith in me’. I told him I trust him but having seen the cash with my own eyes, it was not possible for me to keep quiet,” Mishra said while addressing the media at Raj Ghat.

The leaders of the AAP are supporting firmly the chief minister of Delhi and saying that “even his (Kejriwal’s) enemies will not believe it”. Ex-minister Kapil Mishra was sacked on Saturday night by saying that there was some “mismanagement in the water supply” whereas Mishra claimed that it was a conspiracy originated against him as he alleged the Rs 400 crore water tank scam in the government. The opposition parties got a reason to rejoice again and to criticize the AAP leader Arvind Kejriwal again. They are leaving no stone in making the issue bigger and have also asked for the resignation of the Delhi’s CM Arvind Kejriwal.

Delhi chief of BJP Manoj Tiwari was quick to respond to this controversy and said that the Lieutenant Governor should “examine the possibility of recommending the dismissal of the AAP government to the President”. On the other hand, the congress leader Ajay Maken said that the allegations are very serious and Kejriwal’s party had lost its agenda to fight against corruption. Ajay Maken said “This is not a single allegation that has been made. Out of a total of seven, who had taken an oath to fight against corruption, six have been removed so far. It explains that the party has lost its basic premise of being against corruption”.  Talking outside the ACB office, Mishra said “lie detector test should be conducted on Arvind Kejriwal, Satyendra Jain and me. I am ready to undergo the test”.

There is no doubt in that it is going to be a huge task for the AAP supremo Arvind Kejriwal and his party to survive from this weathering storm that party has been going from the last some months. After appearing out of Delhi Anti-corruption branch, Kapil Mishra says that “have submitted information on water tanker scam. Have submitted info as a witness and complainant. Have given info how the investigation into tanker scam was repeatedly delayed, how some officials tried to cover up and how even taking the case against Sheila Dikshit was suppressed.

I have given the names of Ashish Talwar and Vibhav Kumar”. The BJP spokesperson Rajiv Babbar said that the Delhi BJP has filed a complaint against Arvind Kejriwal to the Delhi Lokayukta. Mishra tweeted today that “Anyone who dares to speak up should not be called an agent of BJP or Modi… Old tricks won’t work this time”. It looks like that the coming days are very crucial for the Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal and his party. We think it is the high time that Kejriwal should come up front and speak his side on this controversy.
