NEET 2017: 5 Arrested In Jaipur For Duping Students

In Jaipur, a gang of five  members including a government employee, have been arrested for duping medical aspirants by promising to provide the question paper of the National Eligibility Entrance Test NEET for taking  admission in various  MBBS courses. Not only in Jaipur Similar incidents have happened in Patna where some peoples were trying to leak the NEET 2017 paper.  Four young  peoples from Bihar from two different examination halls were caught impersonating during the NEET, in panji too.

A senior official said,”  On Saturday night, accused already had provided questions to some candidates, but none of them matched with the paper which was held yesterday and therefore the paper is not considered leaked.”  The accused had promised  10 students to provide question paper at the cost of  money which is  Rs 5 lakh from each students for this, ADG ATS Umesh Mishra said.

Some of the students had also paid some of the money which is  fixed to get the question paper.  Umesh Mishra said the accused had given aspirants questions on Saturday night but the question was not matched and it was not considered as paper leak but that was the matter  of fraud with the aspirants.

SP Bajrang Singh, who is leading the case said that all the accused members  were under the ATS radar for the last few days. One team from Delhi caught Ashok Gupta and Rahul while the Jaipur team detained   Vikram Sinha and Vikas Sinha and also Bhupendra Sharma, who is a government employee, is a livestock assistant in the state animal husbandry department.  All the five members under arrest for cheating under various IPC sections which  includes section 420 for cheating, 468  for forgery for purpose of cheating and will be produced in a court today.

The ATS team questioned three students from Jaipur and eight students from Delhi but they were allowed to go after investigation  and was not arrested as the paper was not considered as  leaked. ADG Umesh Mishra said that the accused have connection with gang which operates from Bihar. There are still  few more arrests likely to happen in  case of cheating.
