According to the report of sources, Central Board of Secondary Education, CBSE is likely to declare the results for the Class 12 board examinations between 24 May to 27 May 2017.
The CBSE wants to declare the results on time so that admissions process of students to colleges and universities does not get affected. Senior official said that the board is trying to declare Class 12 exam results by May 25. CBSE is trying its best so that students don’t have face any problems during admission even if there is any delay due to any reasons but the result won’t be delayed beyond May 27.
Sources said that this year the marksheets will display grace marks which is being awarded to students. This year nearly 10,98,891 students have registered for the Class 12 board examinations from all across the India, which was delayed by one week due to the assembly elections that held in March 2017.
However, despite the delay in commencement in exams to due to elections, CBSE officials had maintained that the results would be declared on time. The exams usually begin on March 1, and results are declared by the third week of May during previous years this procedure would also be same even this year despite of delay.
According to the official the maximum marks will be 100 which is divided in two categories in which 50 out of 100 is given in by, the board exam, and 50 marks are allocated to internal assessment or practical examination. Students needs to score minimum 33 % marks in both board exam and practical exam to qualify.
