Arunabh Kumar to Step Down as TVF CEO, More Sexual Charges


Arunabh Kumar, the founder of “THE VIRAL FEVER”, was the chief  Experimental Officer of the Viral Fever Media Labs, its an online entertainment source which usually satirizes the upcoming burning news related to Indian Politics, movies, lifestyle, social system etc.

He was brought up in Muzaffarpur, and completed his BTech in Electrical Engineering from IIT Kharagpur, being a skilled person he joined Shah Rukh khans production house and under Farah Khan as an assistant director, later he got rejected by MTV for the creation of Engineer’s Dairy after that he launched “The Viral Fever”.

His career was in  start and at that time he found himself in controversies, More than 50 womens complain against him for sexual harassment, on March 2017 Media reported about this incident.

17 March 2017, a complain was filed against him by a Mumbai lawyer and on March 29 he was booked for that molestation case. Then he was granted bail on April. And according to Times of India Mumbai police on 18 May had filed a 275 page charge sheet against him, and the second complain is filed against him on 16 June 2017, with multiple sexual harassment cases, has stepped down as TVF CEO.

At first a female staffer who worked in his company under the fictitious name as Indian Fowler posted a blog at accusing him of the sexual advances at the workplace, She accuse him for all the several attempts he made to exploit her during her tenure from 2014 and 2016.

In the response section, another female staffer who work in his company shared that post saying that “I experienced the same exploitation during my work period, I felt cheated so I left my job in very bad circumstances.”

TVF denied all the allegations against Kumar and replied that “we are soon going to find the author of the post and we will charge a court case against her for such false allegation.”

She posted that she met Kumar in a Mumbai cafe 2014, both of them belong to Bihar (Muzaffarpur) so they bonded well and after that Arunabh heired her in his company. And in just three weeks, she was molested for the first time, Which changed into a continuous procedure and for that she quit her job in 2016.

She further stated ” After that it became a routine, right from Pitchers to Tripling, I was molested. Even in parties Arunabh would try to lift me or would try and fall on me pretending he is drunk. ” she complained her bosses but they all ignored it.

Arunabh tweeted on Friday, “that he would be available as a ‘mentor’ for the company. “He further added that- “In the wake of the recent attacks, what really breaks me is the blemish on the brand’s true promise. I have therefore taken the decision to step down as the COE of TVF”.

His words show the faith and confidence he have within himself, as true picture should prevail in the society.

COO  Dhawal Gusain has been elevated as the new CEO as the company is funded by the Leading global private equity firm Tiger Global.
