KMAT 2017, Kerala Hall Ticket Released Today For 2nd July Exam


Kerala 2017 KMAT hall ticket will be released in the official website, the KMAT Kerala 2017 exam, which is going to be held on 2nd July and the hall ticket of the said exam will be released today (24 June). After the release students can easily download the letter from the official website.

Previously KMAT Kerala 2017 MBA entrance examination was going to be held much before but due to some inconvenience the date has been revised by the Admission Supervisory Committee and the exam is going to be held on 2nd July 2017. As the exam got delayed so accordingly the release of the hall ticket  also got delayed. As per the revised schedule, KMAT hall ticket will be available from today onward at the official website.

Students after release can easily download the hall ticket from the official website. Students by entering their roll number and further required information can login into their personal panel and from their they can download  their admit card for the 2017 KMAT exam.

KMAT Kerala June 2017 entrance examination will be conducted by University of Kerala and will be supervised by Admission Supervisory Committee & Fee Regulatory Committee for Professional Colleges of Kerala. This entrance examination is going to be held for various universities and affiliated colleges, which also includes various autonomous colleges of Kerela.

On 24th April the online applications for KMAT Kerala 2017 were opened and the exam was initially scheduled to be held on 11th June. When the representative of MBA colleges/ Institutions met ASC Chairman last month, they requested to postpone the entrance exam as there were very less exam takers due to non-publication of degree results. KMAT Convenor Dr. K.S Chandrasekhar met ASC Chairman in this regard and a decision to postpone the exam was taken. The revised schedule of KMAT Kerala June 2017 was later published on 30th May.

The hall ticket is must for all the applicants as it is required for gaining entry to the exam hall.  And students without examination admit card will not be allowed to enter the examination hall. As the entrance exam will be conducted in a single part from 10 am to 12.30 pm on 2nd July 2017.  After the exam the University will publish the answer keys of entrance exam online on the same day, while the results will be declared on 7th July 2017.

Kerala KMAT 2017 is a single paper exam consisting of total 180 multiple choice questions.

And the questions will be distributed in four sections which are as following:

  • English Language Usage and Reading Comprehension (50 questions)
  • Quantitative Aptitude (50 questions)
  • Data Sufficiency & Logical Reasoning (40 questions)
  • General Knowledge and Contemporary Business Scenario (40 questions). Each question will carry 4 marks.

The candidates are required to score minimum 15% marks in the KMAT Kerala MBA entrance exam, as per the rules.

And the cut off marks are as following:

  • For the general category candidates it will be 108 marks out of total 720 marks.
  • For SEBC category, the cut off marks will be 10% (72 marks) out of the total.
  • And for the SC/ ST candidates it will be 7.5% (54 marks) out of the total.

And the qualified candidates will have to appear for the Group Discussion and Interview, after which the final merit list will be prepared. And after that the admission process will start.
