ICAR AIEEA 2017 Result Will be Released on 5th July

ICAR AIEEA 2017 has officially announced about the release of its UG and PG results, as on 5th July, 2017 ICAR AIEEA will release the result for both Post Graduate and under Graduate courses. AIEEA will publish the result in its official website, So the long wait of the students come to an end, as the result for ICAR AIEEA will be released soon.

Students can easily download 2017 ICAR AIEEA result from its official website, Students by logging into their personal panel and entering all the necessary information can download their allotted examination result.

All India Entrance Examination for admission to Undergraduate programs (AIEEA 2017) has been conducted today by Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR). ICAR is soon going to release the entrance exam result. On 22nd April All India Entrance Examination was held for admission to Bachelor (AIEEA-UG 2017) degree programmes in Agriculture and allied Sciences at Agricultural University.

Every year thousands of students register themselves under ICAR AIEEA, This year around 50,000 candidates registered themselves for the  said course. ICAR AIEEA UG 2017 has been conducted across 52 regional centers wherein over thousand of candidates appeared for that exam. As the online applications for the entrance exam were submitted from April 20 to May 6. The entrance exam was initially scheduled for May 13, but due to some inconvenience the exam date shifted to June 10.

The exam conducted by ICAR AIEEA was an offline exam in which the questions sheet were provided to the candidates in two series, set 1 and set 2 and were also provided the an OMR answer booklet sheets just to mark the answers. There is no official announcement made by the ICAR board regarding the release of the examination key answers maybe unofficial sources can release the answer keys.

The exam consisted of a single set of question paper. In which there was 300 questions which were divided equally distributed in the five following subjects:

  • Physics
  • Chemistry
  • Mathematics
  • Biology
  • Agriculture

The candidates had to attempt only three out of  all these five subjects, based on the their qualification and eligibility.Each subject consisted of 60 multiple choice questions. The candidates will be awarded 4 marks for each correct answer and 1 mark will be deducted for every wrong answer from the total score. The maximum marks in the entrance exam will remain 720.

There are total 1,799 seats on offer through the ICAR AIEEA 2017. As ICAR has been conducting the national-level entrance exam for admissions to 15% seats available in the Agricultural Universities across the Country. The test also includes 100 percent seats in NDRI Karnal, RLB CAU, Jhansi, and Dr. RP CAU, Pusa, Bihar.

The seats available in the academic session 2017-18 are divided into following ways:

  • 1,021 seats in Agriculture
  • 211 in Horticulture
  • 55 in Forestry
  • 83 in Fisheries
  • 104 in Community Science
  • 7 in Sericulture
  • 177 in Agricultural Engineering
  • 72 in Dairy Technology
  • 29 in Food Technolgoy
  • 40 seats in Biotechnology.

The results of the entrance exam was released yesterday on (30 June) 2017 i.e an tentative date, Students who qualify the entrance test have to attend the counselling session, as the online counselling is scheduled to be held in three rounds, which commencing from July 7. An over all merit list is prepared by ICAR on the basis of marks obtained by the candidates in the entrance exam and which will be used by them for  the admission purpose.
