BSTC College Allotment for 2017 admissions will be released today on 4th July. Previously it was officially announced that result of first allotment will be released on 29 June,2017. But on 26 June, an official notice was issued by BSTC 2017 Convener announcing the change in the release dates. So the wait of the students come to an end because the result will be released today by 4 pm.
Students can download their allotment letter from the official website after release, students by logging into their personal panel and entering their roll number and other necessary details can easily download their 2017 BSTC first allotment letter.
The counselling procedure and the allotment of college is to be done on the following basis:
- Choices filled by the candidates
- Category of candidate
- Marks of entrance test
- Availability of seats.
The University of Kota had conducted Pre-BSTC (Basic School Training Certificate) entrance exam on the behalf of State government. As the BSTC 2017 entrance exam was held on 30 April, 2017. And the result of the entrance test was released on June 3, but the cut-off marks were not published on the official website. On 14 June, the University notified the commencement of BSTC 2017 counselling for admissions to D.El.Ed. course. The online registration for counselling started on 15 June and was closed on 30 June, which perviously was to be closed on 26 June but got extended for 4 days. At the sametime, the applicants were given time till July 2 for filling choices of colleges. As per the revised schedule, BSTC First College Allotment result will be declared on June 4 and the candidates will be given 10 days time to report to the allotted college.
Every year thousands of candidate apply for the said course and this year for nearly 5 lakh candidates had applied for BSTC entrance exam. There are total 18,250 seats available under BSTC General course offered in 292 colleges. And 1,220 seats in 16 colleges for BSTC Sanskrit course.
After the declaration of BSTC College Allotment result, students if satisfied with the alloted seat should take one print out of bank chalan copy and pay the admission fee at ICICI Bank Branch. After the payment of fee, the candidates will have to report to the allotted college with printed copy of application form and other documents, for the verification process. The fee can be paid till July 13, while the last date to report in college is June 14.
The list of documents students should carry while reporting are as following:
- Receipts of registration fee
- Balance fee payment
- All educational certificates
- Domicile certificate
- Category certificate.
- The candidates will have to carry the documents in original and two self-attested copies along with two passport size photographs. The candidates will be given two days (16 & 17 July) to apply for upward movement in College allotment.
