'Taanaji: The Unsung Warrior' First Look Released, Ajay Devgn in Completely Different Look


After Shivaay Ajay Devgn is all set to amuse the audience with his next film Taanaji. Ajay Devgan’s film Tanaji’s first look has been released. In this film, Ajay Devgn will be seen in a different look. Actually Ajay is playing the role of ‘Subedar Taanaji Malusare’ in this project.

Ajay shared the movie’s first poster on his Twitter account. Those who do not know about Taanaji let us inform you that he was with Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. Ajay Devgan told that he had been working on this film for a long time.

Taanaji New Look

Ajay told that Taanaji is one of the anonymous warriors of Indian history. In the film, Taanaji fight for King Chhatrapati Shivaji, soil and people. The legendary warrior is known for his battle in 1670, where he was asked by Shivaji to recapture the fort of Kondana in Pune. Taanaji conquered the fortress with the help of domesticated monitor lizards who climbed up the walls with ropes tied to them which they nested on the ramparts. The army won the battle but Taanaji lost his life in this battle. He was glorified by Shivaji with the words ‘Gal Ala Pan Sinh Gela’ (although the fort was captured, a lion was lost) which became a popular history ballad in novel with the same name.

Taanaji is being directed under the supervision of Om Raut. Taanaji :The unsung warrior’ is expected to release in 2019. but this year Ajay Devgn will be seen in Baadshaho -a Milan Luthria directorial venture and Golmaal Again – directed by Rohit Shetty.
