Today India is playing against the SriLanka. Sri Lanka is the host of the test cricket this time. In test rankings Indian team is currently on the top whereas Sri Lankan team is on the seventh number.

The Indian team has decided to bat first after winning the toss. After 14 overs, the Indian team has made 60 runs on the loss of 1 wicket. Abhinav Mukund (12) is out. Shikhar Dhawan (32) and Cheteshwar Pujara (14) are on the crease.

Abhinav Mukund started the innings with Shikhar Dhawan for India because Murli Vijay is out of the tour because of his injuries and Rahul is suffering from Viral. Nuwan Pradeep did the balling in the first over from Sri Lankan, and India made four runs. In the third over of the innings Shikhar Dhawan hit the first four of the inning. In the seventh over of the innings, Dilruwan Perera came for bowling.

In the eighth over Abhinav Mukund got catch out by wicketkeeper Dickwella on Pradeep’s ball. India lost its first wicket on 27 run.

Galle is the same place where two years back, India had to face shameful defeat but after that it has consistently performed well and is the world’s number one team. Virat Kohli and Company will be desperate to repay the lost in the Galle International Stadium in 2015. At that time, in order to follow the target of 176 runs, Indian team got all out at 112 runs on the fourt day. A lot has changed since then. Young and aggressive Kohli has now become a mature captain, under whose leadership the team has won 12 of the 17 Test matches against the West Indies, New Zealand, England, Bangladesh and Australia in the 2016-17 seasons. Along with this, Ravi Shastri will start his new innings for the second time in the Indian team’s important post.  Shastri has now joined the team as the chief coach, while Bharat Arun has become bowling coach, it can be said that there have been considerable similarities in the Indian team management. This is a positive aspect of long and often annoying events
