In October 2017 JKBOSE To Conduct Class 10th And 12th Board Exams

Farooq Ahmad Shah, Secretary School education said that the Jammu and Kashmir State Board of School Education (JKBOSE) has decided to hold 10th and 12th class board exams from the last week of October. Asper recently information of media, “The annual class 10, 12 Board of School Education (BOSE) exams will be held from last week of October.”

Mr. Shah further said that on relief to the lower attendance of students, there will be no relaxation given to the students who have below 90% Attendance. Such students would not be able to sit for the Board exams. Mr. Shah also asked the parents to encourage their children to be present in their classes on the regular basis.

While in a review meeting at Bemina in BOSE, he spoke to media , he said, “BOSE has been asked to finalize preparations for class 10 and 12 annual exams and any student with less than 90 percent attendance won’t be allowed to sit in exams.”

On 28th August 1975 J&K BOSE was founded and its Headquarter is situated at Srinagar. The school education board in the Indian state of Jammu and Kashmir is a self-governing body under the management of the state government of Jammu and Kashmir.

  • The school education board has over 4,225 affiliated schools across the state.
  • The Board employs approximately 22,300 teachers to carry out the academic work.

The Jammu and Kashmir State Board of School Education is the chief board of school education of Jammu and Kashmir. While describing the manner, Shah told, “The shortage list will be issued by the end of September and registration forms of students falling under shortage cases will be called back by the school authorities,”  the Board has been advised to be welcoming to the concerns of the students who approach the authorities with their problems. BOSE has been strictly asked to hold fair exams and to take stern actions towards the students who choose to copy or cheat in exams centres.

He also further added that, “We are receiving reports of mass copying in exam centres as no stern action has been taken against the students or staff. Strict action should be take by the BOSE so that students refrain from such activities.”

Mr. Shah put emphasis on saying, Advising the Board officials, “When a student fails in exams he is in the state of frustration and BOSE officials should treat them with affection and address their grievances.”

JKBOSE was designated as the 2nd ‘Futuristic School Board’ of India in 2017 among 35 boards across the Country, two days ago, Ahmad Shah assembled a meeting to evaluate the functioning of JKBOSE, mainly the exam and assessment activities. The meeting was educated regarding the development and accomplishment of JKBOSE.

Ahmad Shah on this auspicious occasion said that the institution is associated with quality education. He stressed onto BOSE officials to take on best practices to make sure the students do not face any trouble while appearing in National Level Examinations.

He even directed BOSE officials and said, “Evaluation staff should not be repeated and persons with positive credentials should be engaged for evaluation activities.” “Action will be taken against examiners who are involved in allowing mass copying. Any official in BOSE found involved in corruption won’t be spared,” he warned.

Karnataka Primary Teacher 2017 Recruitment For 9,949 Vacancies Begins

Karnataka recently announced about the release of the official notification by the board for the recruitment of online application for the Graduate Primary Teachers 2017, in which candidates who have complited Graduatation can apply for the Primary Teachers for classes 6 and 8, as the notice has been released by the Department of Primary and Secondary Education of Government.

The online application process for Karnataka Primary Teacher recruitment 2017 has started today. So the intrested candiadtes can apply from now onwards as the notification released on 24th August informs about filling approximately 10,000 vacancies for Graduate Primary Teacher posts.

As per the notification by the board the Department has exact vacancies of 9,949 Primary Teacher posts in schools across the State. The Department of Primary and Secondary Education has decided to conduct the exam in four batches to ensure that the interests of local cadre candidates are protected. Accordingly, these vacant posts have been divided into four batches:

  • 4,932 posts for Exam 1, Examination 1 will be for 100% posts in 23 districts and 92% posts in North Bangalore and South Bangalore.
  • 3,966 posts for Exam 2, Examination 2 will be for 80% posts.
  • 1,001 posts for Exam 3,
  • While Examination 3 will be for 20% posts in 6 districts in the Hyderabad-Karnataka region. These posts will be reserved for candidates from Hyderabad-Karnataka Region.
  • And 50 posts for Exam 4, Examination 4 will take place for 8% posts in North Bangalore and South Bangalore.

Other applicants are required to pay Rs. 500, 750, 1,000, respectively. Scheduled Castes, Classes, and Class-1 applicants need to pay application fee of Rs. 250 for one post, Rs. 400 for two posts, Rs. 550 for three posts. The applicants can apply for more than one subject in a single application if they have passed the TET exam.

The interested applicants can send their applications to the Centralised Admission Cell (CAC) from 26th August to 25th September. With the notification of Primary Teachers recruitment, the Education department has also announced changes in the exam pattern.Karnataka Primary Teachers recruitment will be opened for the aspirants who wish to become teachers in government schools.

With a new amendment, this time, the candidates will have to sit for 3 papers instead of 2 papers. The exam will be conducted in four batches for all 3 papers. The authoritative department of Primary and Secondary Education has outlined a different pattern for the Karnataka Primary Teacher entrance exam.  In the past years, the recruitment was held based on 2 papers having multiple-choice questions (MCQs), but from this year onwards, the department has chosen to give significant weightage to descriptive questions.

  • The Exam 1 is scheduled to be conducted on 4th and 5th of November
  • Exam 2 is scheduled on 11th and 12th of November
  • Exam 3 is scheduled on 18th and 19th of November
  • And Exam 4 is scheduled to be conducted on 25th and 26th of November

And the exam pattern are as following:

  • Paper I will consist of general multiple-choice questions (MCQs).
  • Paper II will be based on the applicant’s domain subject having both multiple-choice and descriptive questions. These answers can be given in English language or in the medium of instruction the candidate wants to teach in.
  • Paper III is meant to estimate the ability of the medium to which the applicant aspires to teach in. The applicants need to acquire a minimum of 50% in paper II and 60% in paper III.

Gurmeet Ram Rahim Rape Case Verdict: Major Loss due this Verdict

  1. The Home Minister of India, Rajnath Singh, called a high-level meeting at his residence to talk and review the situation in Punjab and Haryana post yesterday’s dreadful violence. NSA Ajit Doval, Intelligence Bureau Rajiv Jain, and Home Secretary Rajiv Mehrishi were also present at the meeting.
  2. The ‘Z-plus’ security cover was withdrawn from the Dera chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim after his conviction in a rape case, said the Haryana Chief Secretary D S Dhesi. He also denied all the rumors of Dera chief enjoying special treatment in a Rohtak jail after being convicted in a 15-year old rape case by a CBI special court in Panchkula yesterday.
  3. After a choke-full violence erupted over the conviction of Dera chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim in a rape case, the authorities in Punjab laid-back curfew in Bathinda, Patiala and Ferozpur towns for four hours. In Kaithal town of Haryana, curfew was composed as well.
  4. Indian Army along with the police and paramilitary forces have raised barriers at every entry point of the Dera premises, where tens of thousands of Dera followers (including Women and Children), not leaving despite the appeal of the authorities.
  5. Taking the total death toll to 31 following the violence erupted after Dera chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim’s conviction in a rape case; three people have died in Sirsa in total. One among injured in Sirsa yesterday succumbed to his injuries on Saturday.
  6. Two ashrams of Dera Sacha Sauda have been sealed in Haryana’s Kurukshetra by the district administration and police.
  7. The prison authorities clearly rejected the reports of Dera chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim getting special treatment in Rohtak’s Sunariya Jail. The DG Prisons (Haryana), KP Singh, said, “Some channels and papers are reporting on special treatment to Ram Rahim. I clarify he is in Sunaria Jail, not in a guesthouse. Ram Rahim Singh is being treated as any normal prisoner. No attendant has been provided and there’s no AC in the cell he is lodged in.”
  8. On the whole, 661 Haryana-Punjab bound trains were affected in the last five days; with 58 trains diverted or short terminated and 309 express trains were being canceled.
  9. The day after a huge violence and rioting, it killed 31 people dead and property worth crores damaged by the mad supporters of Dera head Gurmeet Ram Rahim. The Haryana Police, on the other hand, cleared that they’ll not bring the jailed spiritual guru to Panchkula for the sentencing on Monday.
  10. The ANI news agency reports that Deputy Advocate General Gurdass Singh Salwara has been sacked for reportedly carrying Ram Rahim’s luggage.
  11. The Chief Minister of Punjab, Captain Amarinder Singh, said that no death reports were reported in Punjab and everything was peaceful here. He also said that there was no firing or lathicharge.
  12. Even the Prime Minister Narendra Modi was not spared as the enraged court today criticized the Haryana and the Central government over the bloody violence by the Gurmeet Ram Rahim’s followers over his rape conviction. “He is the Prime Minister of not the BJP but of India,” said the Punjab and Haryana High Court.
  13. The police said that fifteen Dera supporters have been arrested since last night. The Dera centers in Ambala, Kurukshetra, Karnal, Kaithal, and Panchkula had been sealed.
  14. The utmost blame is going to the Haryana Government and has been criticized for not managing the situation smartly, despite many warnings by the court. The Khattar government has also been criticized for allowing no less than 1.5 lakh followers of Dera Sacha Sauda to get together at Panchkula and several other cities ahead of the judgment.
  15. Just after a day when 31 people died and more than 250 injured in the deadly violence by the Gurmeet Ram Rahim’s followers, the Haryana government was slammed by the High Court, which said, “You let a city like Panchkula burn over political motives.”
  16. According to the officials, the central government has asked the Haryana government to provide sufficient security to the CBI special court judge who convicted the Dera Sacha Sauda head Gurmeet Ram Rahim in a rape case. They also added that the home ministry will analyze intelligence inputs before deciding if the Judge’s security needs to be handled by central force or not.
  17. “Just been briefed by DGP, situation peaceful, curfew lifted in 3 districts, relaxed in all others this morning. State on alert for 48 hrs,” said the Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh.
  18. The Home Ministry said: “Situation in Panchkula, Sirsa very tense but under control”.

Woman Looses Newborn Life, Doctor Fought in Operation Theater, Caught on Cam

The two senior doctors in Jodhpur’s Umaid Hospital on Tuesday were sacked after they were purportedly seen fighting inside an operation theater amid surgery of a woman in a video. Shot by nursing staff and came out through the hospital sources, the video, revealed clearly that the assistant professor of obstetrics and gynecology Dr. Ashok Nanival, who’s seen operating the patient in a video, was arguing with a professor of anaesthesia Dr. Mathura Lal Tak using dirty words. On the other hand, the identity of the two doctors was affirmed by the hospital, which ordered a probe too.

Ranjana Desai, the superintendent of the hospital, said that the lady was carried in a serious condition and was promptly moved to the operating theater for a C-section. However, she lost her child in a short time later. “We are yet to ascertain if the newborn’s death was because of the spat. The cause of death is severe birth asphyxia,” she said. The two sacked doctors did not accept calls. The video clearly revealed the two doctors yelling at each other, cautioning them to keep a control on their language and fighting over on some of their own ego issues. The ANI reported that the Rajasthan High Court has asked for a report on this whole incident by Wednesday 2 pm.

The principal of Dr. SN Medical College and controller of Umaid hospital, Dr. Amilal Bhat, cleared that the two doctors were expelled quickly after the issue was reported to him. He said to the Hindustan Times over a call that “I recommended disciplinary action against the two to the government and formed an inquiry committee for further probe”. The state’s medical education department concluded the services of Dr. Nanival as an assistant professor and demoted him to the position of medical officer (MO) in the medical and health department on Tuesday evening. While coming into action against Dr. Tak, the medical college recorded to the department of personnel. Dr. Bhat said, “Dr. Nanival was appointed an assistant professor on the urgent/ temporary basis. The medical education department has to power to terminate such appointments. For Dr. Tak, who is a senior professor, the action will be taken by the DOP.”

Headed by Dr. Desai and comprises the head of anesthesia Prof UD Sharma and pediatrician Dr. Rakesh Jora as members, the probe will be in the hands of Dr. Desai and team. Desai said that “We recorded statements of everyone present in the OT during the spat until 1 am Tuesday night and are preparing a report to submit to the principal”.

IBPS RRB 2017 Officer Scale 1 Prelims Exam Admit Card Released

2017 IBPS RRB admit card has been released on tuesday (29 Aug,17) in the official website, canidates who were eagerly waiting can now download it. The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has released the call letter for the RRB Office Assistants (Multipurpose) preliminary exam 2017.

As the admit card has been released candidates can download it from the official website, candidates by entering into their persoanal pannel and entering their roll number and date of birth can easily download their respective admit card for 2017 IBPS RRB exams.The applicants must carry their ID card along with the admit card in original and a photocopy too. Aadhaar card or election card will be accepted as the identity proof.

The preliminary exam for RRB Office Assistant posts is scheduled to be held on September 17, 23 & 24 and the admit cards have been issued by IBPS on Tuesday. As per IBPS notification (CRP RRB VI) in July for the recruitment of Office Assistant (Multipurpose) in Regional Rural Banks.The Regional Rural Banks (RRB) are banking organizations that work at local or regional levels directed by Government of India in different states of India. The RRBs aim to serve the rural communities with basic banking and financial services. There are total 8,286 vacancies to be filled at various regional rural banks across the country.

2017 IBPS the online application process strated from July 24 and closed on August 14. The  information handout for Office Assistants prelims exam has been made available online along with IBPS RRB Office Assistant admit card. The admit card will remain available until the last day of exam, i.e. September 24.

IBPS RRB Office Assistant exam will be conducted in two phases – Preliminary exam and Main exam. The Prelims exam question paper will consist of two sections.

  • Section-I will have 40 questions of reasoning
  • Section-II will have 40 questions of numerical ability

The duration of the prelims exam will be 45 minutes. Each question will carry 1 mark. The exam will be conducted in both Hindi & English language. The result for Office Assistant preliminary exam will be declared tentatively in the month of October and the qualified candidates will be called for the main exam.

The Main exam pattern for Office Assistant posts will include 5 sections. The maximum marks for the following

  • Reasoning-50
  • Numerical Ability-50
  • General Awareness-40
  • English Language-40
  • Hindi Language-20

Including Computer Knowledge sections. Each section will have 40 questions. The Main exam for Office Assistant posts will be held on 12th November, while the call letters will be issued in the first week of November.

The applicants will be provisionally allotted to a RRB based on their obtained marks in the main examination and the vacancies as reported by the Banks. For Office Assistant (Multipurpose), the provisional allotment shall be restricted within the RRBs of the State opted for. The Provisional allotment will be done tentatively in January 2018.

The candidate have to qualify in both the tests by securing minimum cut-off marks set by the IBPS. As far as the selection process is concerned, the obtained marks in the Main exam will be considered for the final merit listing. The applicants will be required to obtain a minimum score in each test of Online Main examination to be considered to be shortlisted for provisional allotment.

To Attend the BRICS Summit Modi will Travel to Myanmar, Which will be held from September 3-5

On Tuesday the ministry of external affairs said that Narendra Modi Prime Minister of India will travel to Xiamen in China to attend the BRICS summit which will be held from September 3-5, 2017 . Modi’s visit announcement comes a day after India and China ended their 73-day standoff in Dokalam by withdrawing their troops from the area.

MEA said “Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Xiamen in China’s Fujian province during September 3-5, 2017, At the invitation of the President of People’s Republic of China, to attend the 9th BRICS Summit.”

In November 2014, Modi had visited Myanmar’s capital Nay Pyi Taw to attend the ASEAN summit. But it will be Modi’s first bilateral state visit to Myanmar. Myanmar President U Htin Kyaw has invited the Prime Minister of India to Myanmar for a state visit from September 5 to 7, 2017.

From China, PM Modi will travel to Myanmar because of the invitation where, “the Prime Minister will hold discussions with State Counsellor Daw Aung San Suu Kyi on matters of mutual interest and also call on President U Htin Kyaw. He will visit Yangon and Bagan also apart from his engagements in the capital city of Nay Pyi Taw,” MEA said.
