For Flood-hit Northeast States, Rs 2000 Crore has been Assigned by PM Modi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday announced  the allowence to the flood victim, The drastic flood state of affairs in north-eastern states at a series of high-level conferences in Guwahati and has declared help of over Rs. 2000 crore. The Prime Minister declared the package for relief, rehabilitation, reconstruction and flood mitigation measures within the flood-affected north-eastern states.
The states of province, Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur and Nagaland has been adversely affected by the flood, through the course of the day the Prime Minister has taken several measures to control the situation by taking the reviews careful. The Chief Ministers of the individual states, and senior officers at the conferences were gifted. A memoranda was received from the Chief Minister of Mizoram, WHO couldn’t create it to the meeting face to face.

Over Rs. 1200 large integer has been given by the Union of Government for the infrastructure sector alone. The funds are utilised for repair, maintenance, and strengthening of roads, highways, bridges, and alternative broken infrastructure.

Around four hundred large integer has been provided to upgrade the water holding capability of the Brahmaputra, which can assist high management. In the current year, the Union Government has approved Rs. 600 as central share of SDRF. Out of this, Rs. 345 has already been free, and also the remaining are free now, to help the states in relief and rehabilitation work.

The Union Government also will give alarge amont of money for completing a study to synergize efforts towards finding time-bound future solutions to repeated floods within the region. The north-eastern region, of India’s acreage, contains common fraction of the country’s water resources. The Union Government can represent a High Level Committee, with illustration from Ministries of the govt of Republic of India and also the States, for correct management of the region’s huge water resources.

Rs. 2 lakh has been provided for an ex-gratia assistance to the next of kin and Rs. 50,000 to each of those seriously injured due to the floods, has been sanctioned under the Prime Minister’s National Relief Fund (PMNRF).
