2017 IBPS RRB admit card has been released on tuesday (29 Aug,17) in the official website, canidates who were eagerly waiting can now download it. The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has released the call letter for the RRB Office Assistants (Multipurpose) preliminary exam 2017.
As the admit card has been released candidates can download it from the official website, candidates by entering into their persoanal pannel and entering their roll number and date of birth can easily download their respective admit card for 2017 IBPS RRB exams.The applicants must carry their ID card along with the admit card in original and a photocopy too. Aadhaar card or election card will be accepted as the identity proof.
The preliminary exam for RRB Office Assistant posts is scheduled to be held on September 17, 23 & 24 and the admit cards have been issued by IBPS on Tuesday. As per IBPS notification (CRP RRB VI) in July for the recruitment of Office Assistant (Multipurpose) in Regional Rural Banks.The Regional Rural Banks (RRB) are banking organizations that work at local or regional levels directed by Government of India in different states of India. The RRBs aim to serve the rural communities with basic banking and financial services. There are total 8,286 vacancies to be filled at various regional rural banks across the country.
2017 IBPS the online application process strated from July 24 and closed on August 14. The information handout for Office Assistants prelims exam has been made available online along with IBPS RRB Office Assistant admit card. The admit card will remain available until the last day of exam, i.e. September 24.
IBPS RRB Office Assistant exam will be conducted in two phases – Preliminary exam and Main exam. The Prelims exam question paper will consist of two sections.
- Section-I will have 40 questions of reasoning
- Section-II will have 40 questions of numerical ability
The duration of the prelims exam will be 45 minutes. Each question will carry 1 mark. The exam will be conducted in both Hindi & English language. The result for Office Assistant preliminary exam will be declared tentatively in the month of October and the qualified candidates will be called for the main exam.
The Main exam pattern for Office Assistant posts will include 5 sections. The maximum marks for the following
- Numerical Ability-50
- General Awareness-40
- English Language-40
- Hindi Language-20
Including Computer Knowledge sections. Each section will have 40 questions. The Main exam for Office Assistant posts will be held on 12th November, while the call letters will be issued in the first week of November.
The applicants will be provisionally allotted to a RRB based on their obtained marks in the main examination and the vacancies as reported by the Banks. For Office Assistant (Multipurpose), the provisional allotment shall be restricted within the RRBs of the State opted for. The Provisional allotment will be done tentatively in January 2018.
The candidate have to qualify in both the tests by securing minimum cut-off marks set by the IBPS. As far as the selection process is concerned, the obtained marks in the Main exam will be considered for the final merit listing. The applicants will be required to obtain a minimum score in each test of Online Main examination to be considered to be shortlisted for provisional allotment.
