2017 UPPSC admit card has been released in the official website, So the candidates who will be appearing the Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) for PCS Preliminary examination, can download their respective admit card as is available in the official website.
Candiadtes can download their respective result from the official website, Candidates by logging into their personal pannel and entering their roll number and date of birth can download their 2017 UPPSC admit card. Admit card is must for every candidate as no candiadte will be allowed to enter the examination hall and appear for the prelims exam without it. The admit card is important because it contains important details like candidate’s name, exam date, exam timing and venue details.
As per the examination board notification on 24th September, the Commission will hold the Combined State/ Upper Subordinate Preliminary Examination 2017 . The admit card can be downloaded online from the website. On 22nd February UPPSC had published an advertisement (No. A-2/E-1/2017) regarding UP PCS Exam 2017 (Combined State Upper Subordinate Examination).
Every year thousands of students register themselves for the said exam and this in more than 3.5 lakh applicants have registered themselves as there are total 251 notified vacancies to be filled through the exam.
On 24th September PCS Prelims exam is scheduled is going to be held and the candidates whose application was not rejected during verification process for UPPSC PCS Exam 2017 can download the admit card for Preliminary Exam.
Exam will be conducted for two papers. The papers will carry 200 marks each, UPPSC will conduct the two papers in different shifts:
- General Studies I, Paper 1 from 9.30 am to 11.30 am
- General Studies II, Paper 2 from 2.30 pm to 4.30 pm
- PCS Prelims Paper 1 & Paper 2 will have 150 and 100 multiple choice questions respectively.
- While Paper 2 will remain qualifying in nature, the further selection of candidates depend on their performance in Paper 1.
It is compulsory for the candidates to appear in both the papers of Prelims for the evaluation process. The minimum qualifying score in Paper 2 is fixed at 33 percent. The candidates will be disqualified, in case, they do not appear in both in papers. The merit of the applicants will be determined on the basis of obtained marks in Paper-I of the Prelims exam.
The Main exam will be followed by a Personality Test or a Viva-voice.The candidates declared qualified in the preliminary exam will only be called for the Main exam.
