From Friday Keep these ID Proofs When you Book your Domestic Flight


The Central Government issued a rule for No Fly List rules on Friday. After the implementation of this rule, passengers can be submitted their government ID proofs before booking tickets. Passengers will have to share any of the following ID proofs for booking tickets. These Govt ID proofs include:

  • Aadhar Card
  • Driving License
  • Passport
  • PAN Card
  • Voter ID card (Not sure)

There is no final confirmation that Voter ID card will be accepted or not for booking tickets.

Civil Aviation Secretary  RN Choubey Singh has announced that they bring out a no fly list rule in order to the safety of the country.

The Civil Aviation Ministry has proposed this No fly list rule after noticing some incidents or misbehaving of MPs. Shiv Sena MP Ravindra Gaikwad beat up an Air India staffer with his slippers. After the incident, Gaikwad was allowed to flying when he apologizes to Minister of Civil Aviation.

Recently DCGA team had a discussion with global regulators in Mongolia at a meeting and will be issued a final rule on Friday says Union Minister  Jayant Sinha. She had earlier said, “India will be the first country in the world to have a national no-fly list based on safety.”
