PM Modi in Bihar Live updates: PM to share stage with Bihar CM Nitish Kumar

The Prime Minister Narendra Modi is expected to address the centenary celebrations of Patna University in Bihar today. He will be visiting Mokama to inaugurate several development projects, including national highway projects and sewage treatment plants. By the end of the day, PM is expected to address a public meeting as well. The PM Modi is expected to share the stage with Bihar CM Nitish Kumar during his visit, which will be the first time after the Kumar’s return to the NDA fold.

Here are the Live updates:

11: 20 am: PM Modi has arrived Science College Ground of Patna University. The centenary celebrations have been started.

10.35 am: PM Modi stressed on the need for conscious efforts towards national integration at the Conference of Governors. He urged the Governors to participate themselves in initiatives such as ‘Ek Bharat’, ‘Shreshtha Bharat’ and ‘Run for Unity’.

10.10 am:  On Friday, PM Modi attended the 48th Conference of Governors at Rashtrapati Bhawan. While addressing the Conference, PM Modi said that there was a shortage of ideas, resources, and capabilities in the country and added that Governors can simplify better effectiveness of government initiatives.

9.45 am: The PM Modi is expected to inaugurate two-lane construction of Maheshkhunt-Saharsa-Purnea section of NH 107 and two-lane construction of Biharsharif-Barbigha-Mokama section of NH-82 at Mokama, which is around 90 kms from Patna.

9.20 am: Modi is expected to lay the foundation stone of four highways, including the four-laning of Aunta-Simariya section of NH-31 and the construction of six-lane Ganga Setu at a cost of Rs 1,161 crore.

8.30 am: This Bihar’s tour for the PM Modi will be the first official tour since the BJP-led coalition came to power in July this year.
