Bengaluru woman runs away with 17-year-old, held for rape

The Bengaluru police have arrested a 24-year-old woman for allegedly kidnapping and raping a 17-year-old boy. The woman has been booked under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act following medical tests conducted on her and the teenager affirmed that the two had “sexual contact”. The arrested woman is married to a businessman for the last two years, and the teenager knew each other for a while as both lived in the same locality.

The police told Times of India that the teenager is a school dropout. The woman and the boy went missing on October 24, following which the lady’s husband approached the police to file a complaint. At the same police station, the teenager boy’s missing complaint came as well. Luckily, the teenager’s father saw a picture of 24-year-old on the desk of the police station officer. He then told the police that he’s suspicious of both running together.  Even though the police wasn’t sure about father’s claim, but they cross-checked the CCTV footage after the woman’s neighbors told them that they suspected the affair of both. Meanwhile, the police checked the CCTV footage and found that the two had boarded a bus to go to Andhra Pradesh on the evening of October 24.
