Refusing to give the reason why Deepiked opted herself out of this huge event, Ranjan said that “Although Deepika was invited to participate as a speaker in one of the sessions, two to three days back we received a communication from her office that she will not be able to participate. We cannot say what could be the possible reason”. To cover up the loss of huge star power, the Telengana government has now approached to homegrown superstars like Tennis champ Sania Mirza and badminton coach Pullela Gopichand to come in.
