According to a recent and latest report from South Korea LG might just unveil the new G7 successor of G6 at CES (annual Consumer Electronics Show) in Las Vegas in January 2018 most probably. LG might launch early G7 along with its rival in the market that is Samsung Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9 Plus. In CES there will be two major smartphones that would be revealed. Samsung has begun testing the Galaxy S9 with Android 8.0 Oreo, and is pushing hard to launch the next Galaxy flagships and get an early lead.

Earlier Evan Blass wrote in Venture Beat how Samsung Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9 Plus will be unveiled at CES 2018 but now it has added that the actually the launch would finally take place later in March. Samsung Galaxy S8 was unveiled in New York, S7 series and LG G6 were launched at Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona. Samsung has started testing the Galaxy S9 with Android 8.0 Oreo and trying level best to launch the next phones in the hierarchy early. The idea behind LG G7 is to get launched in the market very quickly with its full Vision display seen on the previous smartphone. It has to be observed whether LG G7 also launches with the same Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor as that of its competitor in the market Samsung Galaxy S9.

Samsung got the dibs at the Snapdragon 835 with the new phone of their hierarchy Galaxy S8, whereas LG G6 came with the older Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 processor and did not showed any change, this reason could be considered as to why LG wants to launch its new phone earlier in the market ahead of its competitor Samsung. For now, this is the first report which claims of LG G7 being launched in January 2018, we will have to wait and see if this does turn out to be true or not? According to reports LG did get the very early kick start with the 18:9 aspect-ratio considering to be quite good in terms of business and marking the flagship of the year, but soon the Galaxy S8 stole all the credit and attention of the viewers with its features and the marked shifted to Samsung suddenly. It will be very interesting to see who rules the market and catches the eyeballs of users LG or Samsung.
