One Plus 5T Star Wars limited edition announced, goes on Sale on December 15th

On Monday One Plus announced the OnePlus 5T Star Wars Limited Edition in association with Star Wars to mark its third anniversary in India. At the Comic-Con event in Bengaluru which happened on Saturday, the new Limited Edition OnePlus 5T was showcased. Moreover, OnePlus is hosting an event to formally launch the latest phone One Plus 5T in Mumbai on December 14 at 7pm at IMAX Wadala. The tickets for the event will be available to the public starting from Rs 999 on Paytm from 10am onwards on December 7.  The One Plus 5T Star Wars Limited Edition will go for sale on all channels including Amazon India, oneplusstore.in, and OnePlus experience zones in Bangalore and Noida and the details about its price and storage variants are yet to be revealed which have not come up till now.

OnePlus 5T Limited Edition has a white finish along with a Star Wars logo, OnePlus branding beneath the fingerprint scanner, the phone slider on the left has been painted in red colour and the front of the device still has the back finish. According to an official teaser video on YouTube, One Plus 5T includes a Stormtrooper wallpaper

The specifications of the latest phone in the One Plus hierarchy are likely to be identical to its original version that was launched with a starting price tag of Rs.32,999 in India the last month. The phone features a big 6.01-inch Full Optic AMOLED display with high quality full-HD+ (1080×2160 pixels) resolution and 18:9 aspect ratio. It is powered by a 2.5GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC which is coupled with up to 8GB RAM and a 128GB onboard storage. The latest One Plus has rear-facing fingerprint scanner and a pre-installed Face Unlock feature.

It has a dual-camera setup with a 16-megapixel IMX398 sensor available in the front of the phone with a very fine picture quality and a 20-megapixel Sony IMX350 sensor along with f/1.7 aperture lenses. The battery is 3300mAh that provides fast charging through the company’s Dash Charge technology. The handset was originally planned to debut with Android Nougat-based Oxygen 4.7.1 but was finally released afterwards with advancements and improvements for fingerprint and face unlock features

Last week, Chinese company One Plus launched OnePlus 5T ‘Lava Red’ Limited Edition in China with a red colour back panel which is listed on the company’s China site alongside the original ‘Midnight Black’ option.

If a person don’t want the OnePlus 5R Star Wars Limited Edition the company is also offering the standard model of the phone in a black finish. OnePlus 5T’s price in India is Rs 32,999 for the base 6GB RAM, 8GB RAM for Rs 37,999. OnePlus 5T is exclusively available at Amazon in India and the same would also be made available on the official online store of One Plus from where users could choose depending on their availability. One Plus is finding a big name in the market within very less frame time.
