The Bollywood superstar Shahrukh Khan knows very well how to amaze audiences and that’s exactly what he had done with his upcoming film ‘Zero’. Keeping up the promise, the 52-year-old actor took to Twitter at exactly 5 pm to reveal the title of his next film with director Anand L Rai. The title has been revealed through a small teaser in which we can see Shahrukh Khan in a never-seen-before avatar.
The Bollywood superstar is playing the role of a dwarf in the film, which also features Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif in vital roles. Shahrukh Khan and director Anand L Rai involved in chitchat over the pending announcement on Twitter. The 52-year-old actor asked the director about the announcement of the title, and they reached a conclusion to release it at 5 pm on Monday. “@aanandlrai sir, title kab announce karna hai? Ya 2018 mein bhi gaaliyan khaani hain?! @AnushkaSharma #KatrinaKaif,” to which the filmmaker replied, “Arre sir apno ki gaaliyaan hain, khaa lenge 😊Par aap bataao ? 1st January kaisa rahega ?” Khan asked Rai.
Following this, Khan asked the filmmaker if he would only announce the title. “Accha rahega…Par sirf title announce karoge ya kuch dikhaaoge bhi? @AnushkaSharma #KatrinaKaif” The filmmaker was more than happy to add, “Naye Saal ka pehla din hai Khan Saab!!! Kuch dikha bhi dena chahiye….😊 @AnushkaSharma #KatrinaKaif,” Srk asked. The character of Shahrukh Khan in Zero will be three feet tall, and the special effects (VFX) used in the film helped in making the ‘dwarf’ character look realistic.
The director recently said that SRK’s performance is going to be the USP of the film. “They (fans) are carrying an image in their mind and it is not exactly what we have in the film. When we were working on it we did not know it (dwarf part) will look this way. I want to replace that image with the right image. The film’s USP is Shah Rukh’s performance,” Rai said.
