Padmaavat Movie Review: Star Performance
Ranveer Singh as Alauddin Khilji is unarguably the greatest performance of the actor’s career. From his devilish smile to his mannerisms in presenting his character, Singh’s performance as Khilji to be remembered for years as he gets into the skin of the character in each and every scene. We have to appreciate writers for making his character so strong and writing it so well. We are 100% sure that Ranveer Singh is to bag many major awards for his extraordinary performance.
Deepika Padukone as Rani Padmini portrayed her character with full sincerity and justice towards the elegance and simplicity of it. She looked extremely beautiful and real to the character. I just felt that she had lesser screen presence, but she amazes whenever she comes with any scene.
Shahid Kapoor is quite an intelligent actor and he never tries to do over to make his character more powerful than of any other actor’s character in the film. His simplicity and seriousness is something we all must appreciate him for. Yes, we feel unlikely his character doing certain things. His character probably needed better writing.
Padmaavat Movie Review: Direction, Music
Thank you, Sanjay Leela Bhansali, for being the pride of Indian cinema. We are proud to have crazy and sincere filmmakers like you. His direction seems like a painting in every scene and painting always looks beautiful to the eyes when the artist is none other than Sanjay Leela Bhansali. He’s the real man behind the whole film, characters, and most importantly, the soul of the film.
The songs of the film are visualized beautifully and it does full justice in the film but the songs are not too great to listen in repeat mode. Ghoomar looks impressive on the big screen than ever. The song that impresses us all is Khalbali and watching Ranveer Singh in it is like icing on the cake. You will definitely love the background music as whenever it comes, one can sense goosebumps.
Padmaavat Movie Review: The Last Word
Watch Padmaavat for Ranveer Singh’s unimaginable performance. Watch it once again for its magnum opus, amazing dialogues, and remarkable story. Ranveer Singh is precisely the next big superstar of Bollywood.
