The Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Padmaavat has received enthusiastic reviews from the critics and it has been well-appreciated by the audiences as well. The Deepika-Shahid-Ranveer starrer ‘Padmaavat’ has emerged as an enormous success at the box office already. The historical drama film has continued its pace at the box office and collected amazing 14 crores on Monday.

The Monday collections are extremely well since its Thursday collections were 19 crore, which reflects that the film continues to have a stronghold. Talking about the overall collections of Padmaavat at the domestic box office, the film stands at 128 crores with which it has already crossed the lifetime numbers of Ram Leela, the first collaboration of Bhansali’s with Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone. It is also expected that the film would be the biggest success that the trio has given together since Bajirao Mastani would be history too very soon.

This Bhansali’s magnum opus film is now racing towards the 200 crore club. As per the estimates, it is expected that Padmaavat will reach the 200 crore mark by the end of the second week and from there on it would be interesting to see how far the film would be able to go. For Deepika Padukone, especially, the film is now probably of becoming her career’s biggest grosser as it has the chances to surpass the total of Chennai Express.
