The world-class comedian Kapil Sharma, who has been missing from the small screen for quite a time now, is all set to make a comeback with his new show. The Sony Entertainment Television has shared a small teaser confirming his comeback of one of TV’s most-loved comedians. Though, the further details about the show are yet to be revealed.
In a small teaser, we can see Kapil Sharma trying to hire an auto-rickshaw but the driver insults him through repeating the actor-comedian that he is yet to pay his dues. When the 36-year-old comedian says that he will clear all dues soon, the driver makes a sarcastic remark again and says, “Kaha se doge, kaam dhandha to hai nahi tumhare pass?” Sharing the teaser with his fans and followers, Kapil Sharma tweeted, “Here is the first teaser of our new show on @SonyTV need ur best wishes.” In August 2017, Sony TV announced that it was a “short break” for Kapil and his show.
An official spokesperson from the channel had said then that since the comedian had been under the weather, they had “mutually agreed to take a short break”, and that they will start shooting once again when he will recover completely. The announcement came following months of rumors that Kapil’s alcoholism was ruining his good image. It was alleged that Kapil had canceled shoot with many Bollywood actors, including Shahrukh Khan. However, Kapil Sharma is optimistic about the show with which he is planning the comeback. “I feel very nice that people love me so much. I wanted to come on TV, and not even dreamt of being in films. Now, I have done both…I feel very nice and hope this love keeps pouring and I keep on doing the good work,” Kapil told IANS.
