Looking forward to the 2019 Lok Sabha polls, every political party seems to be focused on connecting with the voters, but for the saffron party, it is the party workers who are the “priority”. At the first assembly of BJP workers in the recently built headquarters in the national capital’s Deendayal Upadhyay Marg, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said to all the MPs to win the “hearts” of party workers.
Prime Minister Modi told the MPs that workers are “keys to victory” and they must be with them through ups and downs. Adding to this, BJP president Amit Shah also defined that MPs win the hearts of the party workers in a mega outreach programme ahead of the 2019 parliamentary election. PM Modi was apparently cited as saying that the party workers are the key to victory. Modi added that BJP will win the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, but MPs must win the heart of the party workers. The BJP president Amit Shah asked MPs to work to reinforce booth-level organization in their constituencies, declaring that the organization’s work at the booth level, along with BJP’s ideology and Modi’s leadership, has been the main reason for its success.
At the same time, PM Modi also accused the opposition at the meet of spreading lies against the government stating that the growing “frustration” over electoral losses has made them do so. PM Modi told the MPs to use technology to present facts and reach out to people as the opposition was spreading lies against the government out of frustration. Talking about Amit Shah’s speech, he blamed the opposition for the Parliament ruckus and asked the MPs to hold a press conference in the next three days in their constituencies to give a stress on the matter.
