8-year-old girl gang-raped by a 19-year-old boy and 5 minors in Pune

In Pune, an eight-year-old girl was gang-raped by one 19-year-old boy and five minors. The incident came to highlight when the girl revealed to her mother that she was suffering from pain in her lower stomach following which the parents took her to a nearby hospital. The doctor informed the girl’s father that she was raped following conducting a medical examination.

Following this, the girl was asked about it and she took the name of six boys. The doctor later directed the parents to take the matter to the nearest police station. To file an FIR, the parents went to Kondhwa police station. All the six boys between the age of 12 and 19 were arrested following a female cop wrote the report. The accused were of the same locality and attended the same school as the victim. The girl also confessed that the attackers would give her chocolate and take her to the terrace of the building she lives in. Later, they used to rape her there. As per the police, the accused were raping the eight-year-old since August 2017.

Bihar: Naxals attack Masudan railway station, two officials abducted

On Tuesday night, the Naxals attacked the Masudan railway station in Bihar and incinerated the station property. As per ANI, the Naxals have also abducted two railway officials of which one was the assistant station master. The abducted assistant station master called up Maldah DRM saying Naxals have threatened to kill him if trains carry on functioning on Masudan track.

All the passengers were advised to take other alternates as a safety measure. No casualties have been reported as of now. On the other hand, no official statement from the railway authorities has been issued concerning the issue. The CPRO Eastern Railway Rajesh Kumar also enlightened that rail services have been still at Kiul-Jamalpur-Bhagalpur section of Malda Division. It is not the first time such incident took place in the state. Prior this year, a group of 20 Naxals had allegedly hijacked a train in Lakhisarai district of the state on August 3. Later, the Naxals had interrupted rail services on two lines following abducting two cabin men in the district as part of their week-long protest noted as ‘Shahadat Saptah’.

HRD Ministry Official Jeetendra found dead on railway tracks in Delhi, family claimed he was murdered

The family of HRD ministry official alleged that he was killed and his body was dumped on railway tracks. The Indian civil accounts service Officer Jeetendra Kumar Jha’s body was found on railway tracks on Monday in Palam, who went missing for three days. However, the police said that it was a case of suicide since a claimed note was found in which he said no one was accountable for his death.

On Thursday, Jha’s family was not able to identify his body firstly. But when police showed a wallet and clothes, then they identified the body. Jha’s brother-in-law RN Mishra said that the body was damaged beyond imagination and that’s why they could not recognize it. He claimed that there was some conspiracy behind Jha’s death. “Three-four months ago, he had said that he won’t live long. He was scared for his life,” Mishra told PTI. He added that Jha was scared and was not even going to work and had been on leave. “He had even stopped visiting our house late in the night. If we had to meet him, we would have to visit his home,” said Mishra.

The reason why Jha used to leave his phone at home was to make sure that his location could not be tracked. “He would leave his cell phone behind since he feared that his location might be tracked and he might be attacked. Even on the day he went missing, he had left his phone at home,” Mishra said. They said that Jha went missing from Dwarka on Monday after going for a walk. The police had said that Jha was not going to the office and was on medical leave from September 28.



Noida Double Murder Case: Boy admits that he killed Mother, Sister

The police said that the 16-year-old boy who was the main suspect in Greater Noida’s double murder case has been captured by the police in Uttar Pradesh’s Varanasi. The suspected boy who flees was allegedly killing his own mother (42) and sister (9) was taken into custody on Friday afternoon from Varanasi’s Dashashvamedh Ghat.

The Senior Superintendent of Noida Police Luv Kumar told India Today “The juvenile who is suspected of murdering his mother and sister was hiding in Varanasi. With the help of technical evidence, the minor was located near Dashashvamedh Ghat in Varanasi and on Friday afternoon, he was nabbed by our team.” According to the sources in Noida police, they’ve confirmed that the boy had admitted his crime and confirmed that he had killed his mother and sister on December 4. As per the Noida police sources, the juvenile was on the run after allegedly committing the crime and also had called his father on Friday morning from an unknown number. The father, however, quickly informed the police following which a team took the first flight to Varanasi.

The police also requested the mobile owner to keep an eye on the boy and Varanasi police was also informed. The boy was captured by the local police near Dashashwmedh Ghar where he was walking. The sources told India Today that the juvenile traveled in a train to Varanasi on his own and there wasn’t any story of conspiracy behind it. The Noida police are expected to produce the boy before the juvenile justice board on Saturday. On Tuesday late night, the 42-year-old mother and 9-year-old daughter were found murdered in their Greater Noida flat. As per the CCTV footage checked by the team of officials heading the case, Anjali and her children were last seen entering the society about 8 pm, the day incident took place.

Delhi Women Commission’s volunteer allegedly beaten up, ‘paraded naked’ for helping bust liquor racket

Another shocking incident took place in the national capital where a woman was allegedly beaten and her clothes were torn by other women of the locality who were supposedly involved in bootlegging. The 33-year-old had helped the Delhi Commission for Women (DCW) and police in busting an illicit liquor racket in outer Delhi’s area on Thursday.

Describing the incident as “shocking and shameful”, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal requested Lt Governor Anil Baijal to intervene on Thursday and take strict action against local policemen who were allegedly conspiring with those running the racket. The Times of India reported that the victim said that her attackers were other women from neighborhood involved in the bootlegging. The DCW chief Swati Maliwal has alleged that the woman had warned the Commission about illegal liquor sale amid an inspection in Narela area last night following which she was attacked today by a mob of 25 people and was also assaulted with iron rods.

“Her clothes were torn and she was paraded naked in the area and the entire incident was filmed and the video was allegedly shared in the area by these criminals. The entire incident proves complete lawlessness and zero fear of law in the area and it is shocking that police did not take any action to protect these women,” Maliwal said. The police added that the victim was a member of the Nasha Mukt Panchayat and had helped them in past as well. The DCW Chairperson Swati Maliwal and her raided the house of a woman identified as Asha, who and with some other women allegedly beat up the victim.

The Deputy Commissioner of Police (Rohini) Rajneesh Gupta told The Indian Express that “The woman was assaulted by Asha and other women around noon”. However, DCP Gupta denied the claim that the woman was “paraded naked”. He added that her clothes may get torn in the scuffle. “Utterly shocking and shameful that this is happening in the Capital. I urge honorable LG to immediately intervene, take action against local policemen and ensure everyone’s safety,” the national capital Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal.

Cow smuggler killed in an encounter with Rajasthan police in Alwar

The police said on Thursday that a cow smuggler in a pickup was killed in a shootout early morning in Rajasthan’s Alwar. The police are yet to identify the dead man. He was with his five to six accomplices, who managed to flee during the exchange of fire in Janata Colony on the periphery of Alwar city at around 2.30 am.

The district superintendent of police (SP) Rahul Prakash told TOI about a dozen of cow smugglers who had started firing at a police patrolling unit near Janta colony. “The police had intercepted a mini-truck in which cows were being smuggled. When we asked them to stop the truck, the smugglers opened fire on us. We also resorted to trigger in which one of their accomplices was killed,” Prakash said. The body of the dead has been kept at the mortuary of a local hospital. The police also said that they have recovered a country-made pistol, mobile phone, and two cartridges.

An official said, “We had tried to stop them at several places, but the smugglers kept on firing at the police teams. While one has been shot dead, others managed to flee, attempts are being made to arrest them.” Since last two weeks, a gang was involved in smuggling stray in Alwar to keep a check on that the patrolling was intensified, the sources in the police said to the TOI. “We suspect that the smugglers belonged to the same gang, but we are carrying out our investigation,” the official added.

Man burnt alive in Rajasthan’s Rajsamand district over alleged case of love jihad

In a shocking incident, a Muslim laborer from West Bengal was burnt alive for allegedly committing ‘love jihad’. The perpetrator of this heinous crime on Dev heritage road in Rajnagar Area made a video of the crime and uploaded later on the social media. The culprit has been arrested now.

The police at first had received information about the semi-burnt body of a man being found. The senior police officials found a badly disfigured body when reached the location. The police also asked nearby people to identify the burnt person. The burnt person in the video was identified as Mohammed Bhatta Sheikh. As per information, agriculture equipment was used in the murder. The dead man’s slippers and bike were also found from the location of the murder. An attempt was made to burn the victim by putting kerosene on him. The police have started its investigations.

A video has surfaced on the social media where one can witness a person named as ‘Shambhu Nath Raigar’ beating the victim ‘Mohammad Bhatta Sheikh’ in the video. It can be easily seen in the video that the culprit hits the man with agricultural equipment, then throws kerosene on his body and burns it. Raigar can be seen clearly in the video warning that those indulge in ‘love jihad’ will be met with same fate. The Rajsamand police are conducting more investigations into the case.
