Heated Argument Between Two Group Over a Cricket Pitch Turned Bloody

A heated argument between the two groups in in south Delhi’s Mehrauli area over who would get to play cricket at a makeshift pitch in a public park turned bloody, leaving 4 youths with stab wounds.

According to the Police, one of the group members brought out the Swiss knife and attacked the other group members, the 18-year-old teenager, who allegedly wielded the knife, was also injured in the scuffle.

Three of the victims have been discharged from the hospital, two others continued to remain hospitalised. Police informed that the injuries received by the victims are simple and superficial in nature.

A senior police officer said that, “We have identified all the persons suspected to be involved in the clash. They have been called for questioning and their parents are being advised to discipline their wards.”

On Tuesday evening at Jamali Kamali Park in Mehrauli, the two groups clashed over a much sought after cricket pitch in the park. Sandeep and his friends decided to play a tennis ball cricket match at the pitch. The group had just celebrated a friend’s birthday and consumed beer in the afternoon, said Chinmoy Biswal, Additional DCP (south).

At around 5pm another group of local youths, led by 18-year-old Abdul Samad, arrived at the ground and demanded that the pitch be vacated for them. But since the first group was yet to complete their game, they insisted that they should be allowed to finish.

Amid a heated argument between two groups Samad took out the Swiss knife and attacked Sandeep and his group.

When Police reached the spot, they found Samad lying on the ground who also got injured during the scuffle. He was taken to AIIMS trauma centre. Soon, police spotted the other four stabbed youths too and moved them to the hospital for treatment.

Moninder Singh Pandher and Surendra Koli, the two convicts of the most famous and horrifying Nithari case of  Noida have been awarded death sentence in the rape and murder case of Pinki Sarkar. The special CBI court found Pandher and Koli guilty in the murder and rape case of 20-year-old Pinki Sarkar and sentenced them to death on Monday.

“There is no scope for their (the accused’s) reform or rehabilitation. This case falls under the category of rarest of rare and both deserve death penalty,” the CBI special judge said.

That was year 2006 when human skeleton were discovered from the Kothi number D-5 in Nithari village. As soon as the human skeletons were discovered, a special investigation was started by CBI. During the investigation, CBI discovered parts of human skeleton and 40 packets filled with human body parts in the nearby brook of Kothi D-5. After further investigation, Police took Moninder Singh Pandher, owner of the house and his servant Surendra Koli in custody. The case came into highlight when a girl named Payal was lost on May 7, 2006. The investigation in Payal’s missing case led Police to Moninder Singh Pandher.

In the missing case of Payal, Police found that, Payal went to Moninder Singh’s house in a rickshaw where she asked rickshaw puller to wait outside the house and she went inside to take the money to pay the rickshaw puller. After a long wait when Payal didn’t come back rickshaw puller knocked the door of the house, where Pandher told him that Payal has left the place few hours ago, on this the rickshaw puller said that, he was waiting outside the house and he didn’t see Payal coming out of the house. As soon as Payal’s parents came to know this thing they lodged the complaint that their daughter went missing from the House no. D-5.

Surendra Koli is a resident of a village in Almora, Uttarakhand. In 2000 he came to Delhi. In Delhi, Koli used to make food at a brigadier’s house. They say that he makes delicious food. Surendra Koli came in contact with Pandher in the year 2003. On his say, Noida started working in the Sector-31 D-5 Kothi. Pandher’s family moved to Punjab in 2004. After that he and Koli started living in the Kothi.

The call girls used to come often in Pandher’s Kothi. During this time he used to monitor the Kothi gate. During this time, Koli gradually became infected with mental illness known as necrophilia. Under the influence of this disease he started getting attracted to Children and it is also said that he used to abduct the children who pass through Kothi and then mistreat them and then finally kill them. Arrested in December 2006, Pandher walked out of Dasna jail in Ghaziabad in September 2014 after getting bail in all cases. Koli is still in the same prison. After being held guilty in this case, Pandher was again taken into custody and sent to Dasna jail.

Saturday’s verdict was in the eighth case out of the 19 killings. It is the second case, so far, in which both Pandher and Koli have been named as accused.

In the first case, a CBI court in Ghaziabad gave both the accused death penalty in February 2009. But after an appeal, the Allahabad High Court acquitted Pandher and upheld Koli’s punishment.

Ola Driver who Kidnapped Delhi Doctor for 5 Crore, Made Torture Video

A few days following a Delhi doctor’s kidnapping, his family received a chilling video. It revealed the 29-year-old chained to a seat, tortured and begging for water. The Police say the videos were used as a ploy to frighten the category of Dr. Srikanth Goud and make sure they are coughing up a ransom of Rs 5 crore.

On Wednesday, the police took on in a short shootout with the kidnappers at their Meerut hideout so when they finally found Dr. Goud, he was apparently in a state of great distress. Kidnapped on the night time on July 6, the doctor, it seemed, had no hope to be rescued after 12 days in captivity. A Senior Uttar Pradesh police official said that the kidnappers were able to dodge attention by dressing as kanwariyas. An investigating officer, who was simply the part of the team that rescued Dr. Goud, informed Hindustan Times that the kidnappers had turned extreme when some reports about the doctor surfaced on social media. “In Delhi, we had requested all journalists, but we could not stop local channels in Telangana, where the doctor belongs. We requested family members not to talk to the press during the ongoing operation,” a senior police official said.

Srikanth Goud, who’s from Gadwal in Telangana, was abducted from east Delhi’s Preet Vihar on July 6, by the west UP gang, including an Ola cab driver, who was from the region. Dr. Goud, who works in a Metro hospital in east Delhi’s Preet Vihar, had booked the Ola cab to visit south Delhi after a skipped a Metro. The kidnappers had first called Ola call center asking a ransom of Rs 5 crore to release the traveler. The abductors informed the cab aggregator that the event will tarnish the image of the company, plus they should pay the ransom if really they wanted the problem to be stored under the wraps. The cab company approached the authorities and shared information on the driver combined with the registration number of the car. On Wed evening, the doctor was rescued and four kidnappers caught, while four others were able to flee.

The police said that although it shows up that Dr. Goud was fed, they aren’t certain if he was retained in tough conditions. “He appeared weak and in a state of shock when he was rescued. He has now been asked to take a rest and will also be given counseling,” a police officer said. Late Wednesday evening, after the doctor came back home, senior cops held a cake cutting ceremony for the doctor.

One Accused Strangled to Death by Another Accused in Judicial Custody, Shimla Rape Case

A Nepali laborer accused in the murder and rape case of a minor girl in Kotkhai, Himachal Pradesh, was killed last night by another accused in Kotkhai police station.The accused, Suraj Singh, was strangulated by another suspect, Rajinder Singh, inside the lock-up on Tuesday night, police said.After the murder, all the employees of the Kotkhai police station have been transferred and a judicial inquiry has been recommended for custodial death.

Additional police forces have been deployed in Kotkhai as the incident of murder triggered outrage and violence in the state on Wednesday.

Shimla SP DW Negi said around midnight Rajinder murdered Suraj in a scuffle inside the lock-up of Kotkhai police station. “Suraj was rushed to hospital where he was declared brought dead,” said Negi.

The minor girl studying in Class X was killed after the rape on 4th July. Before the incident, the victim took a lift in the vehicle from one of the two accused. This hideous incident of rape has created havoc and unrest across the state and this incident has once again raised the question on the women’s safety in the country.

Model and Singer of Assam Bidisha Bezbaruah has committed suicide in Haryana’s Gurugram. Bidisha had shifted to Gurugram two days earlier. Bidisha has also worked in the recently released Ranbir-Katrina movie Jagga Jasoos. Now her husband has been arrested in this case.

Bidisha Bejbruja’s husband was arrested from the Sushant Lok area of ​​Delhi last night. The father of the deceased had lodged complaint against Vidisha’s husband Nisheet Jha for inciting suicide. Bidisha was a popular actress and singer from Assam. Bidisha is no longer in this world. In the Sushant Lok of Gurugram, Bidisha hanged himself from the fan on Monday night and committed suicide.

30 year old Bidisha was married. Recently she had come to Gurugram from Mumbai and had shifted to husband in Sushant Lok from Gurugram two days ago. No suicide note has been recovered by police near Bidisha’s body.

Ravinder Kumar, PR of Gurugram Police told that, “Bidisha’s father has alleged that her husband used to torture her mentally every day. After being fed up, she committed suicide. A case has been registered against her husband in Sushant Lok police station. Police is trying to catch the accused as soon as possible.”

Meanwhile, Deputy Commissioner of Police Deepak Saharan said, “Bezbaruah was found hanging from the fan at his rental house. They had rented this accommodation recently.” He also added that, “the actress’s father informed them that she was not receiving the phone.”

Saharan told that, “His father had been suspected of something bad, because she was not receiving the phone from Monday evening. He contacted the police and shared her local address.” He also told that, the police reached the spot and they found the main gate closed from inside. The police broke the door and went inside and found it hanging from the fan.

Saharan said, “We are investigating the matter and if necessary, we will call her husband to file a statement.” No suicide note has been received from him. The police have recorded the case against Bidisha’s husband Nisheet Jha for inciting her to suicide. Police is investigating Bidisha’s Facebook and Whatsapp. Meanwhile Assam Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal has demanded Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar to investigate the case.

A Couple Aged Around 20 Found Dead in OYO Hotel Room

A young couple was found dead on Friday in a branch of Oyo (Oyo) room in Delhi’s Dwarka Sector-17. Both the boy and the girl, hanged themselves to the fan, said the police. They checked into the hotel on Thursday and were around 20 year old.

A day after the couple was found dead in hotel room; police is yet to discover the reason for the suicide.

Even the parents are clueless about why their children hanged themselves to death. “We had no idea they were friends. We do not know why they took their lives,” told the police after discovering about the death of their children.

The young girl, who had recently turned 18 was a first year medical student while the boy, aged 17 was preparing for his IIT entrance examination. The two had booked the room using the OYO app on Thursday.

While investigating into the matter Police found that, the boy on Thursday left his home and told his parents that he is going for tuition and will stay at his friend’s house.

Earlier the police suspected that couple might have committed suicide because of the restrictions of their parents on their relationship but now as the Police further investigated they came to know that the boy has never talked about marrying this girl or about being in relationship with this girl with his parents. The parents also informed the police that, “he was very ambitious and wished to crack the IIT and was always engrossed in his books,” a police officer said.

The police officer said that, “now when the parents are clueless about the suicide, they will now ask their friends about the suicide, it is might possible that their friends know something about their relationship and other problems.” The officer also added that, “they will also go through their mobile call logs and chats.”

The two used the hotel bed sheets to hang themselves. While the girl’s father is a CRPF radio operator, the boy’s father runs a grocery store.

Qadeer Ahmed, 1993 Mumbai Serial Blast Victim Arrested in UP Bijnor District

The officials said that the Uttar Pradesh Police Anti-Terror Squad (ATS) all along with Gujarat Police arrested a man accused of smuggling arms and ammunition in the 1993 serial blasts in Mumbai on Saturday. The Qadeer Ahmed was arrested from Uttar Pradesh’s Bijnore district after twenty-four years of the blasts that stunned India’s financial capital, said the police officials.

“TADA accused Qadeer Ahmed (a resident of Najibabad in Bijnore district) allegedly played an important role in smuggling arms and ammunition supplied by Tiger Memon (one of the prime suspects in the 1993 Mumbai serial blasts) in Jamnagar, Gujarat, which was later used in the Mumbai blasts,” an ATS official said. The ATS IG, Aseem Arun, said that the arrest was made by the Uttar Pradesh Police in a combined operation with their Gujarat counterparts. He added that Ahmed was arrested from Bjinore’s Najijabad area. “He will be produced before a magistrate and taken to Gujarat on a transit remand,” Arun said. He added that at this time, both UP ATS and Gujarat Police squads have been questioning Ahmed.
