Bizarre! This 29-years-old claims he is Aishwarya Rai’s son

In a weird claim by a 29-year-old man from Andhra Pradesh that actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is his mother, it looks like 2018 starts for the actress on a bizarre note. Sangeeth Kumar insists that Aishwarya gave birth to him in 1988, who adds Rai after his first and middle name. Funnily, Aishwarya was just 14 years old in 1988.

Kumar told the media in Mangaluru last week that “I was born to her by IVF in London in 1988. I was brought up in Chodavaram from age three to 27. I was with my grandmother Brinda Krishnaraj Rai’s family at the age of one and two in Mumbai. My grandfather Krishnaraj Rai died in April 2017 (March) and my uncle’s name in Aditya Rai”. The 29-year-old man, who definitely have not even a single proof of his big claims, also claimed that his ‘mother’ is separated from husband, Abhishek Bachchan, and is “living alone”.

“I want my mom to come and live with me in Mangaluru. It’s already 27 years since I separated from my family, I miss her a lot. I don’t want to go to Visakhapatnam, at least I want my mother’s number so that I’ll be free,” Kumar added. He alleged that he did not open his mouth before because he was “manipulated” by relatives. “I’m getting enormous headache and anger at my native place, most of my relatives have manipulated things since childhood, otherwise I would have come back to my mother before itself with clear information. Due to lack of information, I could not come to my mother, so now I got all clarity. Ultimate thing is I want my mom,” Sangeeth added.

On the other hand, Aishwarya Rai is busy shooting for Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra’s musical comedy Fanney Khan. She will be seen opposite Rajkummar Rao in the film, which also features Anil Kapoor in the lead.

The character of Shahrukh Khan in Zero will be three feet tall, and the special effects (VFX) used in the film helped in making the ‘dwarf’ character look realistic.

The Deepika Padukone’s upcoming film Padmavati may now be titled as “Padmavat” as it is one of the suggestions made by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) to the makers of the film. As the film is based on the book Padmavat by poet Malik Muhammad Jayasi, the title may also change to Padmavat. This epic poem was written in the sixteenth century.

Creating chaos on the sets, they also damaged cameras and other shooting equipment while raising slogans and abusing. Following this, Rajput groups also staged violent protests on the rumors that Bhansali included a romantic scene between the queen and Allauddin Khilji, who was the Delhi emperor, attacked Mewar’s capital Chittorgarh. The film stars Deepika Padukone, Shahid Kapoor and Ranveer Singh in pivotal roles.

Censor Board asks former royal family, historians, and experts to review Padmavati

The Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) has comprised a six-member panel including historians, experts and members of the former royal family to examine the authenticity of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s controversial magnum opus Padmavati. The panel is ready to review the film as it still waits to get a nod from the censor board for release in cinema halls.

The previous royal family of Mewar had refused to be a part of the panel and on the other hand, asked for a formally written clarification on the points raised by him earlier, the ministry of information and broadcasting said. The panel constituted by Censor Board Chief Prasoon Joshi to “scrutinize the authenticity” of the script will make its comments after which the CBFC is likely to send a formal report to the ministry. Prior to it, the film was sent back to the producers following it was found that the column for declaring whether it was a work of fiction or was based on historical facts was left blank.

The censor board members also added that the film has been pointlessly added in controversy due to unclear disclaimers in its application for a certification that it is ‘partially based on historical facts’. Bhansali, however, had refused to call it a work of fiction. This magnum opus 190-crore budgeted film was scheduled for December 1 release but following the controversy over Karni Sena’s alleged distorting of history in the film delayed its release. The chief ministers of Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh had already banned the film till its important portions that represent Rani Padmini in the wrong light are deleted from the film.
