Delhi DTTE CET 2017, Second Seat Allotment Result Declared

Common Entrance Test (CET) 2017 second allotment result for the admission to Polytechnic institutes in Delhi has been released under the Department of Training and Technical Education of Delhi (DTTE). Candidates who have appeared for the exam can check their allotment from the official website of the exam.

Students can download their result from the official website, students by logging into their personal panel and entering their roll number and date of birth can easily download the second allotment letter. Directorate of Training and Technical Education is entrusted with the responsibility of providing trained technical manpower for the technological up gradation of industrial production, services, productivity and innovation, contributing to the planned growth of the country’s economy. It conducts various examinations for the admissions into various programs and presently has released the CET 2017 second seat allotment.

Every year thousands of students register themselves for CET 2017 and this year also a huge number of candidates applied and appeared for the exam. In all total their are 4,635 seats in all full-time diploma courses. 357 seats are also available under Lateral entry scheme in diploma courses. Overall, 10 government institutions, 1 government-aided institution and 5 private institutions offer diploma courses in Delhi, wherein 85% seats are to be filled by the candidates who have passed the qualifying exam from Schools located in Delhi.

On 29 June,2017 the first round of counselling began  and ended on June 29. Candidates who are satisfied with the seat allotment should freeze their allotted seat and if the candidate does not Freeze the allotted seat, the next higher preference will be allotted to him/her automatically in the next round subject to availability of seats and the candidate will not be allowed to retain the earlier allotment under any circumstances.

The second round of counselling:

  • Result of second counselling and printing of provisional allotment letter: July 6
  • Online payment of part institutional fees: July 7
  • Verification of documents: July 7 (10 am) to July 11 (4 pm)
  • Freezing/Up gradation of allotted seat (Online) by candidate after verification of documents: July 7 10 am to July 12 (4 pm)

Third round of counselling:

  • Processing fee (New candidates only): July 7 to July 13
  • Online registration and choice submission: July 14 to July 17
  • Result of third counseling and printing of provisional allotment letter: July 19 (4 pm)
  • Online payment of part institutional fees: July 20 (10 am) to July 21 (4 pm)
  • Verification of documents: July 20 (10 am ) to July 22 (4 pm)
  • Freezing/Up gradation of allotted seat(Online) by candidate after verification of documents: July 20 (10 am ) to July 23 (4 pm)

Fourth round of counselling:

  • Processing fee (New candidates only): July 20 to July 24
  • Online registration and choice submission: July 25 (10 am) to July 26 (4 pm)
  • Result of fourth counselling and printing of provisional allotment letter: July 28 (4 pm)
  • Online payment of part institutional fees: July 28 (10 am) to July 30 (4 pm)
  • Verification of documents: July 29 (10 am) to July 31 (4 pm)
  • Payment of balance institutional fees and printing of final allotment letter: July 29 (10 am) to August 1 (4 pm)
  • Online willingness for spot round: August 4 (10 am) to August 6 (4 pm)
  • Display of reporting schedule: Will be published on website in August.
