Gujarat University, BA Course Allotment 2017, Published at


Gujarat university will be releasing its first merit list for the Bachelor courses, the first result allotment of the colleges to the students in Bachelor of Arts (B.A) program will be declared by the Gujarat University today (26 June) 2017. It has been officially announced by the Gujarat Examination Council that the result will be declared after 5 pm on Monday i.e today.

In all total there are 14 thousand seats in 40 Arts colleges affiliated under Gujarat University, in which only 10,498 students have registered themselves in the first round.

Students can download their allotment result from the official website, students by logging into their personal panel and their roll number and other necessary details can download their 2017 allotted result.

From 6 June onward Gujarat University had opened the online registration and choice filling facility, And till 14 June, students have time to get their documents verified which will be required during the exam time.

The List published by Gujarat University are as following

  • As the provisional merit list for B.A colleges was published on 18th June
  • And the final merit list was released on 22nd June.
  • As per the notice the final allotment list was to be released on 25th June.

But due to some inconvenience on the initial notified schedule the result was not released, Gujarat University had to publish it on 25th June (Sunday), Which will be released today.

Candidates have to report to the respective college/ institution for document verification, For securing admission in the allotted college. Before 29 June, the candidates will have to produce the allotment/information letter, receipt of fee, all original documents and testimonials for verification.The candidates can also participate in the further rounds of counselling if he/ she has given option for the same during registration. In case, if the candidate fails to report to the allotted institute with these documents on the prescribed date, then the admission offered to him/ her will be cancelled and he/she will not allotted that seat further anymore.

The seat allotment for 2017 Under Graduate Courses under Gujarat University are done on the basis of marks in the qualifying examination (class 12) marks. the candidate who has been selected for the admission will have to take the printout of provisional admission letter and fees receipt.The link to get the print out will be available in the login window of candidates. The candidates who will not be allotted a seat will not be shown any such link and the allotted Institute name in the login window will be shown as blank.

Students who has got admission need to pay the fees and report at the allotted college within the specified time period just to confirm their seat. If the student fails to complete the procedure he/she will not be applicable to take admission anymore.

The fee deposition can be done at the HDFC Bank Counters at respective colleges. Till 29 June the colleges will remain open, So students have enough time to report and verify their original documents/ certificates/ testimonials/ receipt of paid fee.

After the first round, if a candidate does not get admission in their preferred college then he/she can participate in another round of reshuffling, For this the student have to login into the official website of university. From 30 June, the re-shuffling round will begin and from 4 July onward the University will open fresh registration process.
