The candidates who appeared for the HSCAP Kerala trial plus one allotment 2017 will have to wait little longer as the Kerala High Court has put a temporary stay on the admission process. A plea filed in the court looking for the extension in the deadline over registrations of plus one admission process that leads to delay in CBSE 10th class results. The way to apply for the plus one admission in Kerala is through the process that is carried by Directorate of Higher Secondary Education (DHSE) Kerala and through a single window system for the higher secondary admissions through HSCAP, which was closed on 22 May 2017.
On the other hand, HSCAP was expected to publish a trial allotment here on May 29 before the actual allotment results date scheduled for (June 5, 2017). The students and their parents should learn the fact that the trial allotment results are not going to be announced today. Results of class 10 were expected on June 2, keeping that in mind, early reports suggest that Kerala High Court order granted 3 days for the students of class 10 to apply to the process. The High court’s order has also been challenged asking for the more extension in the same matter, but the court has not ordered anything else till now. The court has reportedly given 9 June as the final date for the CBSE students to apply for the admissions. Once the results of the class 10 exams will be announced, more developments will come to the matter as well. As per the reports, the matter will lift up once the CBSE board declares the Class 10 results.
As of now, DHSE Kerala, HSCAP is likely to release a modified schedule but this could be only expected once the CBSE results will be out. From the time CBSE delayed the Class 12 results, it is unsure darkening for the class 10 results as well. A total of 4.22 lakh seats in plus one schools in the state of Kerala, for which 5lakh students apply every year. Comparing this to the state board students, the number of CBSE students is really small. According to the reports, DHSE is likely to release a notification regarding the matter and make the schedule official soon. More than 4 lakh students applied for the admission who have been waiting for this day as trial allotment would give them a clear idea of the choice of schools/streams they are going to obtain.
Leaving the students still confused, the official website of HSCAP had not updated any notice saying that it would not declare on an initial schedule that says plus one trial allotment would be announced on May 29. On the other hand, it is advisable for the parents of the students waiting for the results of Class 10 to submit the applications once the results are out.
