Madras University UG and PG Result Will be Released Today


Madras University is soon going to release its 2017 UG and PG examinations result in the official website. It has been officially announced by the Madras University that the result of both undergraduate and post graduate result will be released in the official website today (1 July) by 8pm. Students after that can download their respective result.

Students can download their result from the official website, Students by logging into their personal panel and entering their roll number and other necessary details can download their allotted 2017 result.

University of Madras, which is informally announced as Madras University or sometimes even UNOM, is one of the oldest state and public university in our country. It is located in Chennai, Tamil Nadu and is also considered the premier one.

Madras University conducted the said exam in the month of April 2017. MU holds nearly 109 colleges affiliation under him with 52 approved research institutions, the Varsity facilitates a total of 73 academic departments grouped under 18 schools covering diverse areas which areas following:

  • Humanities
  • Sciences
  • Social Sciences
  • Management
  • Medicine

Madras University along with other public varsities every year declare the results by June end, but this year the declaration of bachelors’ degree examination results has not been released yet. As per an official press release it is noted that Madras University UG results April 2017 will be published online on Saturday (July 1) along with post graduate students at official website of University of Madras.  UNOM results 2017 will be released today.

Every year Lakhs of students register themselves for pursuing their bachelors and masters in colleges/institutions affiliated to the Varsity. UG/PG students from academic years 2012-23, 2013-14, and 2015-16 who prefer to apply for revaluation, can do so from July 4 to July 10. The revaluation application can be filled online in the official website and students may also contact their college principals for more details.

Normally,  Dr Ambedkar Law University, Tamil Nadu has also extended the admission deadline due to the delay in degree results by public varsities.
