WBJEE Seat Allotment Counselling 2017, 2nd Round Result Out


WBJEE 2017 seat allotment result under 2nd round of counselling, will be released today on 4th July 2017. It was previously announced by the board that the 2017 EBJEE seat allotment will be released today. So it expected that the result will be out today by 4 pm after that the candidates who have participated in the second round can now visit the WBJEE 2017 website for their seat allotment result.

Students can download their result from the official website after release, students by entering into their personal panel and entering their roll number and other necessary details can easily download their 2017 seat allotment result.

WBJEE (West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board) will be out in the official website. But the seat allotment results are yet to be declared. The common entrance examination for admissions to undergraduate professional courses including B.E., B.Tech/ B.Pharm was conducted by WBJEE Board on April 23 and the results of entrance exam were announced on June 5.

The qualified candidates to registered themselves for WBJEE counselling 2017.  And the online registration and choice filling facility opened on June 12 and as per the prescribed schedule, and on June 23 the first round seat allotment result was declared.

There are total 104 institutions participating in WBJEE counselling for admissions in the academic session 2017-18. Which is divided into following numbers:

  • 9 government institutions
  • 86 private self-financing institutions
  • 9 State-funded Universities or University departments.

Every year thousands of students registers themselves under the said courses. And this year more than 1 lakh students have registered. There are total 35,174 seats in 42 branches available in these institutes. Out of which, 32,125 fall under WBJEE Board and the remaining 3,049 are under JEE Main quota.

After the declaration of WBJEE seat allotment result, the students have to pay the seat acceptance fee. Which can be paid through online mode. Also, the fresh allottees will have to report at the reporting center for document verification. The students who wish to take admission to the allotted institute will have to report to the allotted institute before the given time for the document verification, students have to report after 2nd round of seat allotment or for withdrawl of admission or for initial fee payment, which will remain open up to 6 pm on 7th July.

The seats that have remain vacant after the first seat allotment round were up for the students in the second round. So the students who are not satisfied with the seat allotment can wait for the next round because the remaining vacant seats will be included in the 3rd round of seat allotment.
