Sushant Singh Rajput is playing a role of a Banker and the movie is picturesque Budapest which give Shiv and filmmaker Vijan enough reasons to ensure that he is never actually in office but to flirt with other girls and then to fall in love with the chocolateir heroine Saira who has a shop named ‘Love is Sweet.’ This film wears to be flatout silly and unintentionaly funny. Sushant Singh Rajput and Kriti Sanon’s film promised a refreshing take on a relationship based on cockiness instead of conventional sap, Dinesh Vijan’s Raabta is let down.

In the movie, director has spend more time in explaining the movie mechanically instead of painting the picture. Audience expect more of the viusual paints in the movie.

The movie gives us the idea that Shiv is the ladykiller and she (Saira) is a firecracker, she talks to herself in the mirror and tell the audience in her own way that she witnesses some terrible nightmares. As they get infatuated and verbalize to each other that it’s all happening too soon, Saira starts feeling the same connection with Zack (Sarbh) – another blast-from-way-past. We’re then told that in a previous lifetime, Zack and Saira were in love, until a savage warrior seduced her away.

Basically the movie  potrays a love story tale of the current time and at the same time director has tried to show the love story of Sushant and Kriti set back in some tribal village 800 years ago, this movie has also given us the idea about reincarnation. The movie is not a hit on the screens but the technical aspects of the movie are good including sounds and visual effects of the movie.

The music of the film has been composed by Pritam, Jam8 and Meet Bros and the lyrics has been given bt the most famous lyricists of film indudstry that is amitabh Bhattacharya, Irshad Kamil and Kumaar. Arijit Singh, Diljit Doshanj, Atif Aslam, Nikita Gandhi are the few of the singers who have given contribution in the film.

The movie does not have received good remarks from the critics as well The Times of India has rated it 2.5/5, writing “If sparks flew more organically, it would have been easier to make a connection with this epic tale of love.”  Raja Sen from NDTV rated it 1.5/5, writing “Do not watch Raabta, unless you already suffered through it in a past life.” Shubhra Gupta from The Indian Express rated it 1.5/5, writing “Some questions arise after Raabta has been seen, chief amongst which is one that comes up every time Bollywood tries, and fails, to do a cracking romance.
