7 Pakistan Soldier Killed in Cross Firing by Indian Army


Indian army responded to Pakistan’s continuous violation of ceasefire along the Line of Control by killing 5 soldiers of Pak Army. Earlier a General Reserve Engineer Force was killed and two civilians were injured in the violation of ceasefire by Pakistan in Poonch, Pakistan continued provocation, as it violated ceasefire in Naushera and Krishna Ghati sector in Jammu and Kashmir on Thursday morning.

India gave the befitting reply to Pakistan’s army by killing 5 soldiers and injuring six soldiers in a firing. Pakistan on Thursday summoned the India’s deputy High Commissioner JP Singh and condemned the unprovoked ceasefire violation along the LOC by Indian soldiers as Pakistan allegedly saying that this firing, in Battal sector, this morning, killed 2 civilians and injured 4 others.

Senior Pakistan official Dr. Mohmmad Faisal, director General (SAARC and SA) said that, “The deliberate targeting of civilians is indeed condemn-able and contrary to human dignity and international human rights and humanitarian laws.”

Today in the morning, Pakistani army initiated the firing of small arms,82mm and 120 mm mortars along the LOC in Naushera sector and Krishna Ghati sector. Commenting on the violation of ceasefire Defence Military spokesman Lieutenant Colonel Manish Mehta said, ” Pakistan initiated indiscriminate firing and shelling on our positions on the LOC in Rajouri district’s Naushera and Krishna Ghati sector in Poonch.”
