IS MP Government Hiding Something on Farmer’s Killing?

On the agricultural land of India, where farmers do the hard work to cultivate crops are facing the worst. Amidst of all the blame games of politicians on the farmers protest, Swaraj India President Yogendra Yadav slammed BJP with another acquisition. Swaraj India on tuesday said, state (Madhya Pradesh) government is trying to hide something on the farmers killing and therefore, not allowing anyone to enter Mandsaur.

“One week has passed since the killing of the five farmers in Mandsaur in police firing. By stopping the leaders who wanted to meet the kin, the government is trying to hide something and that must be revealed,” Yadav told reporters after returning from Neemuch in Madhya Pradesh. His remark came after a day when he along with his social activists Medha Patkar and Swami Agnivesh were not allowed to meet the families of the farmers who had died on June6.

He also added that, ” the way in which farmers were killed in police firing shows it was a murder.” Not only this but he also alleged that farmers were beaten to death after the firing had stopped.

“If we talk to any ruling leader of Bhartiya Janta Party in the state, they shall boast of the enhanced farming but the fact is that they the agricultural policy is production oriented not producer oriented,” said Yadav.

While expressing his anger on the farmers killing in Mandsaur, he said that demonetisation drive by Narendra Modi is also responsible for farmers condition. He belivies that demonetisation has played a major role in the low demand for the produce. After demonetisation the demand dropped drastically .

He also alleged that money for the crops that was deposited in the farmers’ bank accounts, was deducted by the bank without any prior information to the farmers, which is compeletely illegal.

He also said that, ” farmers are protesting in Mandsaur and Neemuch because they were not getting Minimum Support Price for their crops.”

Meanwhile Swami Agnivesh said in Madhya Pradesh, “that the citizens dont have the permission to move anywhere.” He also lashed on BJP government for not implementing the M.S Swaminathan reccomendations as promised by BJP in its manifesto.
