Lalu is in Another Serious Trouble, CBI Registered Case Against Him and his Family


Seems like Lalu Prasad is getting trapped in more and more problems. The CBI has registered a case against Lalu Prasad Yadav, his wife, son and many others. The other people who came became the target of the CBI’s raid are Sarla Gupta, Vijay Kochhar, Vinay Kochhar, PK Goyal and M / s Lara Project LLP, a company located in New Delhi’s Friends Colony.

In the case of 2006, CBI conducted raids on 12 places of Lalu Prasad in Delhi, Patna, Ranchi, Puri and Gururgram. CBI’s Rakesh Asthana said that the raids started at 7.30 am in various places of the country.

Brief of the whole case

  • Chanakya BNR Hotel of Ranchi and Puri, which was the Heritage Hotel of Railways. Lalu Prasad Yadav, while being the Railway Minister, sold these hotels on lease. The matter of unauthorized property of Rs 1,000 crore against Lalu Prasad and his family is related to Ranchi and Puri.
  • When Lalu Prasad was the Railway Minister, he decided to lease the historic Hotel BNR of Ranchi and Puri on lease.
  • At first the lease was for 30 years, but later it was extended to sixty years. It is alleged that the state government haven’t recevied the deserving price of leasing these two hotels on lease.
  • In this case, Lalu Prasad has said that Railways had leased these hotels under the rule and they have nothing to do with it.

The list of the people against whom CBI has filed a case

Laloo Prasad Yadav, his wife and former Bihar Chief Minister Rabri Devi, his son Deputy Chief Minister Tejasvi Yadav, immediate MD of IRCTC, directors of two private companies, a private marketing company and some Other people are involved. Lalu is accused of giving the hotel tender to the private company of Railways and had benefited the private company as the Railway Minister.Laloo Yadav is currently in Ranchi, who will be present in the CBI special court in the case of fodder scam, while the CBI is engaged in gathering evidence against him in the BN R Hotel located in Ranchi.

On this entire case many political leaders has expressed their views, BJP leader Sushil Kumar Modi has said that, ” Nitish Kumar should break the silence and Tejasvi Yadav should be dismissed as Deputy Chief Minister.

Union minister Giriraj Singh while giving a statement on the raids said, “The truth should come in front of the people. Now Nitish Kumar should speak on the matter whether he wants good governance or supports corruption or is against it. He talks about good governance and zero tolerance. The law is doing its work, the CBI is investigating the matter. Lalu has already been jailed in the fodder scam.
