Myanmar Plane Crash, 122 on Board, Bodies Found Into Sea


Myanmar’s military aircraft went missing from Wednesday afternoon which is carrying  122 passengers and several army officers and children. Army officers immediately carried out the search operation  which carried on throughout the whole  night.

In recent reports, the search team has located wreckage of the missing plane along with several dead bodies in the Andaman Sea. The reason behind  the plane crash is still remains unclear at the moment. While the Investigators will be searching for the black box of aircraft so that all the  details about exactly what happened.

Yesterday,  Myanmar army plane  Y-8-200 F  went missing at around 1:06 pm  according to Myanmar local time. The Chinese built military air carrier took off from the coastal town of Myeik and  when it disappeared it was on its way to city of Yangon.

In earlier reports there were number of conflicts on missing peoples but with some initials report suggest that there were around 105 people in the plane but later, the military officers confirmed the plane was on its weekly military visit to the largest city of Yangon which carry a total of 122 passengers, which included  108 soldiers with their family members, along with 14 crew members.

According to a military statement cited by Reuters,  at the time of its disappearance there were 58 adults , 15 children and 35 soldiers and officers on the plane.

According to military officials, 29 minutes after taking off, the plane lost contact  while flying 18,000 feet above Andaman Sea and  adding search and rescue was ongoing, the commander-in-chief’s office said in a statement,”suddenly at about 1:35 PM (07:05 GMT) communication was lost when it reached about 20 miles west of Dawei town.”

On asking about the cause of the plane, the official reason behind the loss of communication. Kyaw Kyaw Htay, a civil aviation official at Myeik airport said, “We exactly don’t know what had  happened to this plane after the loss of contact,”  He also added that when the plane took off then the weather was normal with clear visibility.

On Thursday at around 8:25 am according to Myanmar local time,  the military said that they have found the wreckage of the plane along with some dead  bodies in the Andaman Sea. A military spokesman team said that We have found the plane and some dead bodies this morning at  about 8.25 AM.

Earlier the  official had reported on Wednesday late night,  debris of the plane were found in the Andaman Sea. Naing Lin Zaw, a tourism official said,” they have found pieces of the damaged plane in the sea about 136 miles (218 km) away from Dawei city and the  cause behind the crash is still unclear at the moment.”
